ComedyCentral.com videos are now embeddable
We really need to make them friendly to the Sift;
there's a bit from Patton Oswalt I wanted to submit comparing Bush & Cheney to The Dukes of Hazzard that's hilarious:

...not to mention that it would cut out the middle man in posting clips from The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, etc.

This would really be great.
But I fear the flood of Comedy Central Mother load clips not seen since the last Great Family Guy/The Daily Show/Simpsons/etc Video Clips flood...
But I guess that could be handled with a channel option called "Only User Generated Content", where you only see clips from Videosift, and specific embeds coming from Comedy Central would disappear if desired by the user.
This could be actually extended Sift wide by admin flagging videos that are particularly ubiquitous.

How do we feel about the pre-roll ads though?
If that is what is required to have them on the Sift, then no way.
We can do without Comedy Central.com
Was going to say, that's suprisingly clueful, but prerolls suck. Someone had to try them, though. Are they animated, or just a single frame ad?
I have the above clip embedded on my MySpace, and there are no prerolls.
I'm guessing (but am not for sure) that embeds do not carry the ads, while visiting the site to watch the video does.

OK - cool. I think it's a great idea then.
As long as we keep the DailyShow/ColbertReport posts within reasonable amounts then great!
