CPU usage on the Sift
I have a Netbook which is hardly the most powerful machine going, but Videosift is causing it to suffer badly. Idle VideoSift tabs on Google Chrome use 10% of the CPU each, 30% for the front page, and 40% when ruining a video. This compares to near zero for other idle tabs and 15 - 20% watching the same video on Youtube. This makes watching a video on VideoSift a slideshow, and careful thought has to be put in to which tabs can be left idle.
What on earth is the Sift doing with my poor and overloaded CPU?

Yes, this is already a known issue. See http://videosift.com/talk/VideoSift-5-0-bugs-go-here?loadcomm=1#comment-1562820 for Dag's reply. I did tell him to make this a #1 priority since many of us, including myself, are having major slow downs.
