Anyone else use Linux at all? Democracy TV?
I've been screwing around with Ubuntu lately and have discovered a player called "Democracy TV". It seems to be a simple RSS reader of sorts, but I'm wondering if VS has the capability to code something for this somehow. I don't know if it's even possible, as we link, not upload. But I thought it'd be worth a try.

I've tried both www.videosift.com and http://feeds.feedburner.com/videosift/RnEh

I think i might have read that they included support for flash play back some time recently. We asked if we could put out a channel way back in march of last year, and at the time it wasn't compatible with flash feeds.
DemocracyTV is to videos what Songbird is to Audio. It's a nifty program, though I myself don't use it all that often. As James pointed out, it should support Flash just fine (hooray for the VLC video implementation!), and since VS has an RSS feed, I think that DemocracyTV should have at least some functionality with VS, if only to reference the links. (In my experience, it works a little more quickly than futzing around with firefox/konqueror.)
This also looks alot like the Zudeo (read Azureus 3.0).
I want to make a channel!
But what would be on it...
Hey okay I know how to make VideoSift channel work on Democracy. I need to download Broadcast Machine, which would create a page on VS. Maybe...
Videosift.com/feed
or something like that.
DO I have permission to do that?
that would be awesome, or if you had dag/lucky do it, that way if it needed any upkeep it'd (hopefully) be part of the whole admin thing.
lol
yay! no work!

the idea's been lost, and this shouldn't count towards my post count.
