Any Chance for Signatures?

I have been going around the internet and I have found a really good picture of Homer dressed as the God of War (as seen in my icon)... After I added him, I was thinking of funny Quotations to say for this picture, but then I remembered that we don't have Signatures (or that thing that is under your message under most forums)... I'm not saying we should format something so that we can have pictures that take up 1/2 the screen, but rather a small area where we can have a clever quotation, or funny saying...

Secondary to The Choggs/Winkler1 suggestion, I'd be open to .sigs if AND ONLY if I have the ability to hide them. You can have your fun, I can has screen space kthxbai

Yeah, I'm not so hot on this idea. Further clutter is to be avoided, methinks.

Can you not just put whatever representative quote you like on the personalized page you get when you become a charter member?

I like the idea of customising whatever you like for your profile but signitures...they could prove annoying, just my take...

I like the homer god of donuts/duff/war avatar

Gotta vote no. Even if they could be hidden, it would scare off new members who aren't aware of the option. Maybe if they were hidden by default, it would be okay, but then you're putting forth a lot of effort for what seems to be a rather small minority of users.

No. Not at all. Signatures are incredibly tacky. I hate reading the same damn line 6 times on a page. They're a visual nightmare. That, and I've never seen them not blend in with the comment body. It adds to confusion and clutter.

BOOOOOOO!!!!!!! NOOOO. Like MG said, the same damn thing over and over and over and over and over and.. well you get the point. As you may or may not know, my wife just gave birth to our first... so she and and sometimes myself, would frequent whattoexpect.com and those comment threads were so damn irritating.
