Announcing the Sustainability Channel
FissionChips eschews the limelight so I'd like to announce that he is the newest channel manager and founder of eco.videosift.com. Mr. Chips describes his new channel this way:
Any suggestions on sites for sourcing good posts? I visit TreeHugger.com sometimes
Sustainability is simply "meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
Topics under the Sustainability umbrella include long-term thinking, social equity, environmental protection, renewable energy, and alternate ways of living.

TED will be a likely source for a few.

Just a reminder, but you cant invoke channels on your own sift. calling *eco wont work for you (but will for others). To add your old sifts into another channel, edit its details (link at top of the sift) and add it to the channel there.
Post is already assigned to eco talk - ignoring all requests by Thylan.
Bloody communist liberal sift.
Awesome!
This is great! Getting the information out to people is a vital part of making the transition to ecofriendly technology and renewable energy possible.
In terms of videos? I don't have any sites for that, but I've got two sites featuring great articles on this topic:
www.ecogeek.org
www.earthfirst.com

Get a job!
This is a sweet channel nonetheless, well done fissionchips.
Great channel, fissionchips! I look forward to pouring a bottle of bleach into the ocean to celebrate!
Hooray for the channel, Boo for the sarcasm!
Common people I don't go around dissing your channels, "phuh phuh phuh, science is for people with diabetes and poor mental acuity."

I love monolithic dome homes. After shopping around, I think I've stumbled across the first one.

Thanks everyone for contributing to my fledgling channel. Thanks Dag for promoting it, I didn't get a chance because I was away for the weekend.
I'm excited to see what we can build this channel into. I'll have to put something in the description about sustainable economics, since I left it out.
Great idea!
