That was the main reason we didn't include Brightcove. I think the pre-rolls set a nasty precedent, we would hate for other providers to do the same.

It sounds like YouTube are going to be a bit more creative with their ad placements, and should be a lot less disruptive.

I liken the pre-roll ads to interstitial ads on websites. You know, when there's something you want to read, but have to go through an ad-page first? Not happy.

Strange, I never got any ads when I was testing out Brightcove's vids. Just lucky I guess...!
