Should polls be allowed in Channels Talks?

So the other day I tried to start a poll on the most influential person in human history. Dag discarded it and politely reminded me of VS Poll Guidelines.

I suggested to Dag that it would be nice to have Channel Talk polls. Since he doesn't bother to respond to my messages, I thought I'd ask y'all.
