The FBI estimates that only 10% of guns used for crimes are legally obtained, so stopping the illegal unregulated gun trade should stop arming 90% of viloent criminals. Stopping the flow of 90% of guns used for crime is nothing? Derp.

Sure, keeping criminals in prison longer might help some after the fact, but 1) they have to commit at least one violent gun crime first and 2) our prisons are already so bursting full of them… so much that many states cannot put non violent criminals in prison without first releasing violent criminals, so longer sentences are impossible.

This time, Kim Taylor, the wife of elected Republican Jeremy Taylor, was just FOUND GUILTY on 52 separate counts related to a scheme to stuff ballot boxes in her husband's race for Congress.
She collected ballots from Vietnamese people who didn’t speak English, filled them out for her husband herself no matter who they wanted to vote for, and stuffed them in ballot boxes. She also illegally filled out voter registration for their children with her address and outright stole their ballots and voted using them, which ended up keeping those children from getting to vote when they tried!

Not alleged cheating, She’s been CONVICTED of 52 counts, her husband is a non indicted co conspirator. That said, he spent 5 years being tortured in Vietnam rather than leaving immediately because he refused to leave without his fellow American captors.

EDIT: Before you go saying I am a fanboy, I didn't care for him as a senator or presidential candidate. I live in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately for my Bahn and Pho addictions, Austin is sort of a high priced area for Vietnamese food. Back in the 90's, you could could get it cheap and plentiful in the few locations that served it; now with the foodies and all the transplants there are tons of places, but they are all expensive.

Houston is still pretty cheap because it is saturated, so when I am down there I can score good, reasonably priced Vietnamese food.

I don't know where you live, but if you're ever near Little Saigon in Orange County, California, right off the 22 fwy at Westminster Ave and Brookhurst, there is a place called Pho Vie. I don't think I've spent more than 12 dollars for 2 bowls of pho + soda chanh. There are so many Pho places around the area though, it can be very easy to mistake the spot.

It's tough sometimes to find 5 dollar pho that's actually really really good -- but PLEASE never spend more than 20 dollars for 2 bowls of pho. Vietnamese food isn't supposed to be expensive. Sort of a thing.
