Idiot Tornado Tears Harmlessly Through Empty Field
No, I mean I often stand in fields spinning around aimlessly until I collapse.
I suppose it's less metaphor than a demonstration.
A flat toothpick sounds pretty sweet to me.
Me too. I'm the only person to reach into a box full of round toothpicks and pull out a flat one

How Every Opening On An iPhone Is Cleaned | Deep Cleaned
For anyone playing along at home, I would use plastic instead of a metal implement. The "toothpick" from your swiss army knife is usually pretty flat and great for loosening/scooping crud from the charging port. The plastic is better to avoid scratching all of that metal, not to mention no risk of short circuiting the charging contacts!?
Yeah, those phones were pretty gross. I'm still rocking an iPhone 8 and I only had to clean out some packed pocket lint once. Of course, I don't wear makeup.
1:1 -Forstner Bit = round wooden sticks
I thought each toothpick was 1 tree.
And that's how toothpicks are made!

NASA Explains Moon Return Plans in Stunning Animated Short
The sound editor is probably having problems at home with the wife over which color the new car should be and this is his only outlet. He just wants to be heard.
The narrator is a problem for me also.
Personally, when she says any word that has an "s" in it, it's like sticking toothpicks in my eardrums. To be clear, this is not just a woman annoyance because men do it also. But... when it comes to a disagreement about the color of the new car...
6 HOURS Waiting To See This Historic Steam Train
Whether waiting 6 hours or not is true, you can't deny for at least the duration of the video that you could relate to it in some way with your own past experiences.
For instance, my father used tell people that he was the only person in the world that can reach into a box of flat toothpicks and pull out a round one.
And now you come along and tell me there is no Santa Claus!
I am truly alone.
Thanks.
Hilarious title/video made me lol, but i'm not buying it (waiting 6 hours).

Another February - Local H
They mispronounce February.
*moves toothpick to other side of mouth*
"Perhaps this is because placing the r sound in the word makes it slightly more difficult to pronounce, and since laziness tends to get the upper hand when we speak, Febuary has become the common pronunciation. However, despite this, the word is correctly pronounced February."

Skateboarder removes large splinter
I was walking back from the bathroom in my home at like 3am one night. It was pitch black. I kicked a small container of toothpicks that had been sitting on the floor and stumbled. One of the toothpicks flipped out of the container and landed straight up just as my foot, and full weight, came down right on top of it. I ended up with the wooden pick sticking straight out of the bottom of my bare foot. They were standard ~2 inch picks, and it was probably buried about 3/4ths the way in. It looked exactly like what this guy had, but it went straight into the tissue of my foot, rather than glancing along side.
My partner drove me to the emergency room right away, and to this day I still feel the elation at learning it hadn't splintered or snapped off in the foot, and they were able to extract it pretty much in the same way he did. I got bonus tetanus shots for being such a good patient.

Claw Machine Fail
Story of my life right there. I'm the only person that can reach into a box of round toothpicks and pull out a flat one.
Fatty fatty two by four?
I can't help but feel a bit ambivalent towards her "problem".
She has a hell of a lot of advantages (seems intelligent, good looking, fit etc), but she wants to be part of the industry that reinforces that women should be toothpicks to hang clothes off. Her bmi is already low, and she knows it, so making the changes the industry wants are, at a guess, simply impossible without seriously compromising her health. She's tried to be the coathanger and failed and now it's sour grapes over the industry and how ridiculous it is... \= |
And it wasn't ridiculous before she decided she wanted to be a model? This isn't a new thing by any stretch of the imagination.
She get's the sympathy around here because she's very attractive and scantily clad (you could probably mute the clip and it would still end up in the top 15). But this is solidly in the "first world problems" zone.
FPS pod racing
Wrong planet, there are tiny Ewoks in the bushes firing toothpicks...they're just too small to see.
Please, pod racing? Where are the sand people trying to shoot them down?
Happy 8th Siftiversary (Sift Talk Post)
Yes there is ant-It's called sunlight and and about-towner afternoons, at least twice a week. OH, and you must encounter 3 people physically per walk, and initiate conversation...Perhaps a puppy or kitty might help?? Crafts or hobbies are good, get you a good knot-tying guide or maybe take up toothpick art or philatelic.
Me too. Is there a VSAA?
