I have to wonder how the survey was conducted. I know people being asked even dead simple questions unexpectedly can totally freeze. For example.

Maybe what these people mean (whether they know it or not) is that their belief in a god gave them the false(yet real enough to them) confidence that they would be ok, which gave them the courage and energy to push through and do all the things to make sure they had the opportunity to have the medical staff fix them. I guess if you had to pin it to a person - was whoever made the “hot” round that blew the cap off the back of the barrel. Either wrong ratio or too much, so the result was higher PSI than the gun could handle (85000 vs 55000 psi). He said he thought it was legit unused military surplus when he bought it, but maybe it wasn’t.

It's considered to be a very reliable and long lasting action. The fit and design keep the action "tight" through repeated use and reduces wear on mating surfaces. A larger-than-most extractor claw reduces the possibility of stuck rounds from breaking the claw or slipping out during extraction. A noticeably smoother action when chambering or extracting a round. I don't know that it contributes to the accuracy of the rifle, would say not in my experience, but opinions vary.
