Using the Pantone Matching System can you identify which shade of yellow was the road you traveled?
I ended up at a paint factory....They said I didn't belong there.
i'm a princess
If you want to know where you belong, just follow the yellow brick road.
Testing Your Metal
I was riding the bus in Paris, and all the streets in Paris were designed for anorexic horses in the 17th century and fuck you for trying to fit your fat-ass 21st century car down them -- much less a huge city bus. So we're squeezing down this street and we come across a moving truck blocking the road. I, as an America, am awaiting horns, swearing and automatic weapon fire. Instead, the driver stops the bus, turns it off, hops off and goes and has a smoke. The people in the bus were being totally French about it: not a murmur of complaint.
Two years later, I was in Canada and some dude cut off a taxi at a light. Out hops the taxi driver to confront the driver of the other car. I start scanning for my exit once pop-pop-pop / muthafuckas drop gets underway. Instead of a spray of bullets, or at least an amusing fist fight, the taxi driver shakes his finger at the guy and gets back in his cab.
I live in mortal fear of getting shot on the road in America over some stupid bullshit (this actually happened to me once: some asshole in Cupertino cranked off three rounds at my car when I accidentally cut him off). It's so amazing to visit civilized countries and see people acting decent and calm to each other.

Upvote for the pickup truck!
Back country skiing in Colorado when I was growing up, down the hill, through the woods to a road, hitchhike back near the top, hike the last couple hundred meters, rinse, repeat.
Nine times out of 10 it was a pickup truck with snow in the back that was picking you up.
This was right before snowboarding was really a thing.
Camaro Sticks Landing After Going Airborne
Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.
big ol boppy riff
Correct. Hope this helps.
You will be driving very slowly – usually 30-40 mph on roads, depending on the normal speed limit, and no more than 55 mph on the highway.
You will need to stay close to the car in front of you in the procession – do not allow room for a vehicle not in the procession to cut in. (Emergency vehicles excluded)
Stay in line and with the procession at all times – even if means you are going through a red light at an intersection. Local traffic ordinances give a funeral procession the right-of-way, and other motorists must yield until the procession has passed. (Emergency vehicles excluded) Do not leave your place in the procession line unless there is an emergency.
The last car in the procession will have 2 funeral flags and will also have hazards lights flashing to signify to other motorists that the procession has ended and that traffic may resume.
Once you arrive at the cemetery, a cemetery attendant will lead the procession to the gravesite or chapel, and the funeral attendant will collect the flags from your vehicle.
Do not tip the lead driver.
Well you of all people should know that it can be difficult to get customers to form an orderly queue.
Lady Calls 911 On Cops Trying To Pull Her Over...
Regarding the first story, I'm not pulling over on a deserted back road for cop cars with no license plates either.
She should have said she doesn't think they're real police and have them escort her to a police station.
Giant Tumbleweed Stops Traffic || ViralHog
Reminds me of growing up in Arizona near the Tohono O Odham reservation.
They filled up our entire front yard out to the road and I had to help cut the roots with a shovel so they would dry up and blow away early. Otherwise the rattlesnakes would hang out in them.

Our Funeral Home is Overwhelmed With Bodies
Biden wins and all is fine.
Open up and go about your business.
Her issues are heart felt. Dead bodies are the proof of this pandemic.
Government involvement:
States need to divert funding from projects likes road expansion or such and fund this.
Federal level provide manpower, shelter etc.
Health care expenses. Not sure this a Federal issue. What if hurricane comes and injure people does the Fed pay for medical? Should it?
Funeral expenses. All deaths are untimely and most have issue with costs. But this will occur to all some day, ready or not. I can see the State prepare a mass grave to deal with the overwhelming death rate. Still not a Federal issue.
FEMA could be involved with refrigerator trucks, manpower for dealing with the dead. But the state would need to request .
Humans Pulling a Truck Out of a Steep Gorge
There was a moment when they were pulling it along the road that I thought they sounded like an emergency vehicle. I didn't need to watch the clip (saw the movie for the umpteenth time just recently), but agree that's a really good analogue.
Speaking of aliens, their voices reminded me of this clip from Close Encounters. https://youtu.be/rugbWUnENLs
Plane taking off in traffic in Alaska
He took off in a shorter distance than that access road he exited from.
Horse gets all Dukes of Hazard
Rule #1 of jumping off road, don't land sideways.
Geese on a London Bus!
As is most of the english-speaking world. This is a more general case of "Why did the chicken cross the road?" and we still can't agree on the answer to that!
I'm a bit confused as to what end this was all done...
AMERICAN RIDING A MOTORBIKE IN HANOI VIETNAM
Over in Vietnam and Thailand they automatically blame any accident involving a tourist driving on the road against the tourist. It's insane.
