I've been to Dubai, I think drivability is more important than walkability when it's 43C (110F) outside. And they do have public transportation (with air-conditioned stations). Ive now been slightly obsessively reading and discussing quantum computers with friends (including a couple clever and informed ones) for two weeks and the theoretical possibility of one day feeding the traveling salesman to a QC is about the biggest real excitement that awaits us in the medium term (decades). And to give you maximum benefit of doubt they also comment on possible(unlikely) exceeding of stated estimates:" Based on current understanding, only the collapse of marine-based sectors of the Antarctic ice sheet, if initiated, could cause global mean sea level to rise substantially above the likely range during the 21st century. This potential additional contribution cannot be precisely quantified but there is medium confidence that it would not exceed several tenths of a meter of sea level rise during the 21st century. "

So, to summarize that, the worst case emissions scenario the IPCC ran(8.5), has in itself a worst case sea level rise ranging 0.5-1.0m, so 1.5 to 3ft. They do note a potential allowance for another few tenths of a meter if unexpected collapse of antarctic ice also occurs.

Well...I tried to like it, and watched the first 4 episodes this winter....one kid pushed off a building was the extent of the violence I recall. After Vikings, I was expecting more.
I told my wife to find me an episode with action, not just drama...she tried starting at season 7, which started well with a mass poisoning (quickly ruined for me with a Mission Impossible style mask removal...WHAT?!), but nothing else. Maybe she just chose poorly, but I still wasn't impressed. I want some blood eagles or better with a minimum of two protracted gruesome deaths or a medium to enormous bloody battle per episode to feel I've gotten satisfactory ultra violence, I wasn't overly impressed with the few sex scenes I've seen either.

I never watched House Of Cards, just wasn't interested in a political drama, I see far more of that than I ever wanted in real life now.
So yeah, I don't think it's for me....that's fine, most popular shows aren't. What I've seen so far was fantasy soap opera more than action. If basic cable can give me semi-historical brutal live organ removals, hundreds of bloody deaths, and three ways, I expect the same or better from premium cable.

As someone with a deaf person in the family, I've watched a lot of Closed caption TV. I also have someone in my family who types translation for Medical Transcription who types reports in real time. An amazing feat, typing 120 words per minute.

Some text is Pre-typed like in TV shows and Movies.
Some text is Auto typed by a computer
And some text is physically being typed by someone live in real time.

You can usually tell if it's typed in real time, because they can be running one or two sentences behind as they try to keep up. It's a very unforgiving medium. Once typed it's broadcasted. You can't just go back in time and remove it. A lot of this typing uses Auto-complete on typing words to speed up the typist to keep the typing in line with the audio.
This is most likely what happened in this case, as the Auto completion incorrectly chose the wrong word.

Don't read into things more than what's there. If you've watched as much closed caption as I have, you'd know that mistakes happen constantly, especially on live broadcast news stories. This is one example out of maybe 20-30 mistakes that will come up in an hour of time.
