I didn't see it in the theater, but watched it on video and thought it was great. Pokes fun at Hollywood action movies, lot of 4th wall jokes. McTiernan should make an anniversary director's cut.

Sometimes huge hits, sometimes box office bombs.

Of course, this week's movie is one of the HUGE HITS we're talking about, with Groundhog Day being a top-tier classic in Bill Murray's filmography. Brilliantly directed by the late Harold Ramis, this is a movie that's spawned many imitators (including the recent Palm Springs) but, in the minds of many, will never truly be equaled..."

Dear God, Please destroy and erase this new CGI and NEVER let Hollywood ever even get the idea of a movie!!!

Without Carlin, this looks like a sad, uninspired cash grab from an old, should be left to rest franchise.

I just cannot imagine this being good. Those who remember it nostalgicly are too old now for the infantile humor, and those the right age group have no connection with the story world, characters, or 80's references.
