Man In The Women's Locker Room Is Now The Norm

luxintenebris says...

BTW: why the need for transgender fender-bender videos?

very conservative women associate once told me [paraphrasing]
"I have used ladies' rooms for over half a century (yes, hard to believe but I do look good so why hide my age) and undoubtedly have crossed paths w/a few of them. Most facilities have booths - why would we want to share that w/anyone - so how would I know if I had! Never been a problem; never have heard one problem; and why make it one?!"

Proud Boys And Antifa Rumble In Oregon

BSR says...

I see a tattered flag near the end of the video. I see this a lot on vehicles, mostly pickup trucks. Some to the point that only half of the flag remains.

U.S. Flag Code

§7. Position and manner of display

b. The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender.

§8. Respect for flag

k. The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.

Which is The Most Dangerous Car? Problems with NHTSA ratings

eric3579 says...

imo We've come a long way in a short period of time when it comes to vehicle safety, and i get the impression automobiles are going to be quite a bit safer in the near future.

I've been the cause of three minor fender benders in my life, and all three would have been avoided if i was driving a new fancy car equipped with collision avoidance gear.

Instant karma - I can drive while looking at my phone

Hubless Wheels + Aircraft Motor = Awesome

Sagemind says...

I just kept thinking to make this street legal, it needs plates, signal lights, brake lights, head lights... etc. But with those wheels on both front and back, where do you put everything else?

And that's beside the point of having fenders. which a bike legally needs, but imagine hitting water on the street or rain, the spray off that thing would be crazy.

Math hiphop (clipping - story 2)

eric3579 says...

Godsmack is how the wind feels
On the face of Mike Winfield
On his way home from the bar where he works
Nights - the worst nights, don't nobody tip right
And between the marriage offers and the fist fights
And if another mother fucker touch his wrist trying to pull him in to whisper
He ain't making it to midnight
Don't they know he got a lighter in his pocket
A matchbook in his sock and a block full of charred skeletons closeted begging to get out
He paused cause he's scared of airing out the thoughts
He can taste it in his mouth the sulfur and bitter carbon
Hearing all the burning bodies shout but no
That was a full lifetime ago and nobody ever has to know
He has never told well except Ronald
But that don't count he was sweet and exactly what he needed him to be at the time
Wine and candlelight and nice texts at lunchtime
Why had he not called Ron back
Guess there just wasn't a spark, ha!
No, no, musn't joke about these things
Wouldn't want to disappoint Doc Clark
So many hours on the couch
So many buried memories that take so many tears to get them out
Water hadn't never been a friend
Hold up - where had he seen that car before
Blue Acura dent on the left rear fender
Back again the sense of
Deja Vu
Strange things you
Never shake when you wake up in recovery
But suddenly noticing ash is covering his head cause it's raining from the sky
Dials home on his cell phone and gets no reply
What the fuck?
Where is the babysitter that he overpays
Body takes over and brain becomes disengaged
Michael is running his house is three blocks away
Adrenaline compensating for change in age
Since the last time that he ran it god dammit
Mike knows he gotta get home fast as he can
Looks up in the sky, glow's familiar
Knows those families died with similar
Awnings and on and on he keeps going
Hits the corner just as he hears the explosion
Screams come from the house, "Did you get them out?"
Mike asking the crowd that has gathered 'round
Tears running down his face
There's that familiar taste
He wishes it would take him to another place
Son and his baby girl in his home and he can't believe that it's gone in a cloud of smoke
And he's choking and running forward and hoping against hope that he might find them alive and well
When he knows the results too well and he knows that fooled himself
And he keeps walking towards the house rather what house is still left
No intention of stopping letting the smoke take his breath
Some strong arm rocks him aside Mike falls to the ground and cries
Why won't you just let me die
Why won't you just let me die

That's pretty sick *promote

A Ford Flathead V-8 Rebuild Time-lapse

newtboy says...

HA!!!!
The "rusted through" on my 70 Bronco had progressed to "rust held together by spit and paint" in many places...but many more were rusted through all the way around, like my hood which had no edge when I bought it. The windshield frame was only upright thanks to the glass, it peeled off by hand leaving me a windshield with no frame. I've since replaced both, but I still have at least one hole through every panel I haven't replaced. My front fenders are more rust than metal at this point. I have replacements, but I'm waiting for it to disassemble itself. ;-)

The patina on my 73 Mustang has progressed to "rusted through" in more than a few places so I'm resto-modding it. It's only a Grande convertible so the VIN doesn't decode rare at all, so I feel ok customizing it.

Gator vs Truck

Payback says...

Are we sure that's a truck? Looks an awful lot like one of those off road golf carts, I believe the John Deere one is called a "Gator".

**edit, nm, googled "4x4 XE" (fender badge) and it's a Nissan so it's not a Gator. Not a truck either, but not a Gator.

Late night Suspicious roadblock

I really don't like this. But also, it's good to remember that you're driving a weapon. A little bit of fender damage is peanuts compared to personal safety.

The Down-Tuning Experiment

SquidCap says...

C or B, that's the lowest you can go with 22/24 fret guitar.. After that you need to start extending neck to get intonation right and you lose more attack the lower you go. Not to mention that B is ~60Hz, pretty much everything below that don't form decent chords specially with heavy distortion. I have drop B tuning (B-F#-B-E-A-C#) on same looking sunburst Fender strato '80 and i've already run out of room fix intonation (thank goodness for my Rockinger Tremolo bridge circa '81 and it's flexibility..)

Chop Suey in Rock Band 2 on Real Drums with the Omega GM-1

Zawash says...

The sound we hear hasn't got anything to do with the drums played in the video, other than faint thuds from hitting the pads - watch the drum fill at 0:29 - he plays a drum fill, but we still hear the regular drums from the original track.

As well - even if this was a "proper" rock band recording, you'd only trigger the pre-recorded sounds anyway, save for the odd drum fill.

For a Rock Band session to qualify as a livemusic, in my opinion, you'd have to overdub the drums with the sounds generated from a proper drumkit - electronic or acoustic.

And yes, I own and play rock band myself - I have an Alesis Dm10 kit hooked up with MIDI for proper drums, the Rock Band Keyboard for proper keyboard and the Fender Squier plastic fantastic "Strat" for MIDI guitar. It is especially fun with friends and beer.

Why is this not live music ? if sum one was playing the drums from sheet music with a tape recording of the other instruments they are doing exactly the same thing.

Motorcycles in the future will not tip over. Lit Motors

Jinx says...

Is bikers just like, falling over a big problem or something? What problem is this invention solving exactly? I mean, I guess if it has airbags and a seat belt then it might protect you from moderate collisions and fender benders.

So yah. It doesn't look as nippy as a proper bike, it restricts the bikers vision and it makes you look like a dork. I also couldn't help but notice that they don't show it going around a corner. Or turning at all actually.

Maybe they should just do away with the gyro, add a third wheel an....
