I'm trying to picture a scenario where someone who is homeless or on unemployment or public assistance has been coveting some of the jobs that might be freed up if there was a mass deportation.

"THEY take OUR jobs" fits real nice on a bumper sticker. I'm not being dismissive, if you have links to anything that bolsters the "one less illegal, one more employed American" argument I'm anxious to start reading something deeper than protest signs.

I don't think they're all here illegally any more. They probably got their citizenship sometime in the last decade that they've been here. I don't think he would have spoken out if his entire family risked being deported, but I'm pretty certain he'll lose his job there. From what it sounds like though, he's offering that up in exchange for spreading his message, so much respect for him.
He said he had two other jobs anyways. Good for him, and for anyone who speaks out against overwhelming ignorance.

The Bible says, "and ye have kept the sabbath, for it is holy to you, he who is polluting it is certainly put to death -- for any who doeth work in it -- that person hath even been cut off from the midst of his people." (elsewhere it implies that they should be stoned to death)

The thing is though: Glenn Beck can't deport anyone. The Westboro Baptist church can't lock people up for being gay. Fox News has no control of anything, they're just a news outlet.

In Israel on the other hand, it looks like there are actual people in power who do have the power to imprison the Sudanese in a specially-built prison just for them, where they stay until the Israeli government is ready to deport them. That's what's show in the video.

So, the comparison to US television isn't all that fitting. Sure, it's not showing you or your ilk, but it's still not an apt comparison. It's nothing like this.

Yes, those are all awful things, but you are alleging that these people are demonstrably worse than Hitler (systematically killed at least 6 million Jews, arguably responsible for the largest conflict the world has ever seen), Stalin (murdered, tortured and deported .... well, no-one knows, but estimates range from 3 to 60 million) and Genghis Khan (killed a sizeable percentage of the worlds population at the time).

Also, you are aggregating the acts of every US president since Truman vs the acts of 3 individuals.

The english language section of the Norwegian Correctional Services web site does mention the challenges they face in trying to rehabilitate foreign prisoners:

This presents a number of challenges for the staff as to language, religion and culture. In addition, a part of this category consists of more or less professional criminal offenders with a certain degree of organization who may be responsible for security problems, criminal activity in or from prison and recruitment of young offenders. Visiting facilities and rehabilitation measures are much harder or impossible to create for offenders who will be deported to their home country after serving their sentence.
