What a pleasure to watch a video that's steady, smooth and clear. Although it's vertical I think it works with what's going on. Kudos to the cameraman!

Great title also!

Rough translation from a Kurdish redditor named Pelo_o : After talking about enemy sniper's location, she says,"For God's sake, why didn't it hit me?" Taffi Taffi is Arabic for "turn it off". She's telling the cameraman to stop recording.
The Redditor says she was speaking Kurmanji. She sounds like she's firm Qamishli, Syria.

Payback says...

My main problem is they're allowing the dog to think itself even equivalent to the child, let alone dominant.

I bet Hoss wouldn't even think of doing this to the guy with the camera. Yet cameraman thinks it's cute Hoss feels dominant over his child. One child bite coming up... This is heading toward a textbook "...but Hoss was always so good natured!!!" after the ambulance comes.

Only reason to upvote is for the comments pointing out the failures of the parent/animal owner.

But I won't. I don't like this

I should say that it appears the camera operator knew what was coming. That is why I don't like this. If it honestly was a doggy moment... well, I don't know enough about dogs and kids to know if there should have been intervention as soon as the dog loomed.

Project Blue Beam Whale Hologram in School Gymnasium

RFlagg says...

All the kids were watching to the left of where the action was happening, enough so to throw me off completely from the illusion, though some do follow it to the center as it goes on. If this isn't added in post, I'd guess this is using something akin to the Dubai video above, and like the video projections on buildings. They map the space, then when the audience is there, project the image live to a monitor, which is what the kids were watching to the left.

Basically it is an improved version of the goal line and projection seen on American Football games. That technology has come a long way with far more information being displayed on the field of play.

This would be a natural progression the technology and I'm surprised we don't see ads and the like on the field while watching a game. While American Football is filled to the brim with ad space, one of the problems American TV has with the "beautiful game", soccer here and a few places, football to most of the world, is the lack of ad time. I wouldn't be surprised to see mini ads playing around the action. Joe the Cameraman just keeps the action to the left half of the screen, and the right half has an ad on the field... perhaps starting off subtle, could be tied to the video monitors on the sideline of the fields that are already showing ads. Just amp that up... not a future one really wants to see, but I'd guess it is coming as more people ad skip.

Cameraman seriously sucks.
I hate when people film a long video of the slow buildup to something exciting, but when the excitement happens they forget they're filming and instead of whatever they were filming we just get upside down footage of the ground, feet, and a tire.

Ok let's say there's no cameraman present, but another certain kind of person who'd be happy to give that guy his fight. Let's say the guy got his jaw broken and couldn't work and couldn't afford hospital fees, and THAT was his payment for not being civil with other people?

Not ok with that either? Well what exactly are you ok with? Should the ignorant bastard who was offensive and (attempting to be) intimidating just get away with no consequences? Or worse still offered protection that was never afforded these poor protesters? What will that teach him?

I guess my opinion is i'm happy with the law of the jungle and in this case he got his comeuppance through twitter. Whenever you go around saying stupid things and acting like you're tough, you're taking a risk. It took effort to go there and be rude, but manners cost nothing. They tried to be nice, they tried to get him to go away MULTIPLE times. The guy put in a lot of work for what he got out of this. It's not like his life is over, no one will remember his name in a few weeks and he will have another job and he might not try to make people scared for their own safety in future.

Man Schools New York State Trooper On The Law !

Lawdeedaw says...

"Until there is legislation on it..." which even the cameraman agrees there is NONE...there will be a lot of misinformation. You do realize that the laws change, and that the changes are not passed on universally? Even legislators rarely know the implications.

A good example was the killing of Trevon Martin. People didn't understand Stand Your Ground, cops or otherwise. They arrested an innocent man (even if he is a murdering piece of shit) and broke the law by doing so. Even smart people on the Sift were so stupid they thought he would be found guilty...and these people were supposedly educated on that particular law they were commenting on. I called it, and guess what happened? Oh yeah...

So suffice to say laws are more nuanced than the officers. Now you could argue that cops must know everything all the time (Which you are implying here, but not on purpose...it is so subtle in society we don't even know we do it, including me) but then that is what a Sergeant is there for. No legislation out? Okay, hey, there's your boss, lets ask him.

Should the officer know as much as reasonably possible? Absolutely--me and you agree 100%. But nobody knows half the laws, and the half they know are subjective...

Also eric, you do realize there are people who are ungrateful that this was peacefully resolved? Such as the for profit corrections system, cop-haters, and many other groups.

IMO The cop not knowing the law (his job) and harassing someone based on his ignorance is a hundred times more pathetic and disgusting then a dude (who was just harassed by a police officer) venting a bit which yes, seemed a bit childish. In the end thankfully everyone walks away hopefully a bit wiser.

I can agree up until the cameraman proves he was a flaming dick when he spoke like a flaming dick to the supervisor. The bait didn't work, and you could tell the troll was raging inside. Last little jabs he could make were pathetic.

Oxen_Morale said:

Yes, but the first officer did seem to have the bully attitude. I think the filmer did his job well. Supervisor was excellent. Hopefully the 1st officer won't go on a ticket tirade to vent off some steam. He looked pretty pissed when he left but he did hold his tongue well.
