Chauvin Guilty of Murder as Calls for Police Reform Grow

newtboy says...

You are so dumb you didn’t notice they were reading some allegedly repeatedly copied document so blurry and incomplete even they couldn’t read parts of it and are pretending it’s an official record. You might be gullible enough to buy that nonsense, but courts sure aren’t.

You are so incapable of following along that you likely didn’t notice they are simply misstating the accusations by a disgruntled ex employee….accusations already 100% debunked at trial.

Just like every single bootlicking excuse you’ve given for these murderous cops and every prediction you made about this case, another “L” for Bobby and his idiotic tantrums.

But you knew this before you posted it. Your goal is never to present factual information, it’s to throw any nonsensical lie you can come up with at the wall and hope it sticks unnoticed. That’s what you call a “win”…it is as close as you get. It’s an “L” bob.

Edit: Just a side note, when used for anesthesia the correct dosage of fentanyl is 10-20 ng/ml…so even if this was an actual autopsy report (hint-it’s not) 11ng/ml is FAR from a lethal dose…it’s the low end of the advised amount that just makes you sleepy…for people with no opioid tolerance. If true, it would only prove that Floyd wasn’t ever fighting them, because he was sedated then unconscious when they murdered him. You never EVER consider the implications of your mensonge du jour, and as a consequence they are rarely what you seem to expect.

Disruptive Boebert Removed From Theater

newtboy says...

ROTFLMFAHS!!

Thinking there was only one blurry video from an old security camera, her office put out a statement completely denying that she was vaping (people must have been confused by the fog from stage she claimed) or being disruptive.

Sadly for her another video has been released showing clearly that she was definitely vaping and continued after being asked to stop by the pregnant woman in the next seat, was not only filming but taking pictures using her flash, disrupting the performance, was singing loudly, talking, laughing, dancing wildly bumping the man in the next seat, and with hundreds of children in attendance is being publicly groped by her john who reaches over for a handful of grandma titty and when he stops she grabs his hand and puts it back on her boob.

Let’s hope she’s too busy walking the streets to remember to vote against changing the debt ceiling in two weeks like she forgot last time.

Don't do that man. my eyesight started getting blurry and I could hear harps and violins fading in as you reminisce.

Quake - Redux

ant says...

I got it via my Bethesda.Net Launcher's free copy from last year or so with its free giveaway. Not bad, but I prefer the third party enhancement mods. Hopefully, people will mod this one too. I do like the free addons since I never played them. Eww, that Quake 64 is so blurry.

Also, LGR's Clint played it on his old school CRT monitor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlZzcYbQ_ZI !

Biker Speeds 160mph Before Crash Left Him Brain Damaged

moonsammy says...

I was going to make the same comment about the driver's brain pre-accident. I can sort of see the appeal of getting a bike up to speed, but at night, with cars around? Lunacy.

Pretty sure the gauge was in kph (based on the blurry dash and it having happened in Australia).

BSR said:

He was brain damaged BEFORE the crash.

265 mph fastest speed. 140 mph impact. Assuming the gauge is MPH.

Picking up the pieces is what I do if the family is lucky.

that was the lamest shortest video of a blurry mess.. it could have been ANYTHING. It is a small netting of spiders above a bush, nothing impressive here.

Near Miss

ChaosEngine says...

The fundamental point is that when the light turns yellow, the yellow car IS blocking his view, but he speeds up anyway, essentially committing to making the intersection.

At 0:02 the light is yellow and his speed is 54km/h. Less than a second later, his speed is over 60km/h. I'd argue that you can actually see a turn signal from the blue car at 0:05, but the video is blurry.

Either way, it's entirely predictable that the oncoming traffic in the middle lane might be turning left, so the sensible course of action is to proceed with caution.

I'm not saying the biker is an asshole. He just made a mistake and I'm glad he's ok. He certainly doesn't deserve to be injured.

bcglorf said:

The moment the yellow can is half clear of the intersection the vehicle that cuts left when unsafe is already visible, aka clear line of sight. Predicting that another driver is likely to veer in for a head on collision is impossible. I've watched a couple times and can't see any turn signals either. What's with everyone getting on the biker here?

Oh, you don't know how to swim?

one of the many faces of racism in america

VoodooV says...

If it were a public figure or an elected official, I wouldn't have a problem at all with them being fired.

I'm not sure if that TED talk example fits exactly. She was a PR manager right? For someone in the PR biz, that was just monumentally stupid thing to say and someone in PR should know better so I find it hard to have sympathy for someone in that case.

But yeah, it's a blurry line to be sure. For me it's a very potent example of why direct democracy isn't always great and why it's a good thing that we elect individuals to make decisions for us to counter the mob with pitchforks mentality that large groups of people tend to have.

Could you imagine if we put EVERYTHING to a popular vote? Sure some things might become more progressive, but then crap like this would happen. Imagine if the decision to use the nuclear bomb was up to direct popular vote. Our planet would be an irradiated wasteland many times over.

Should have been filmed with a faster shutter speed - smooth motion blur like that looks great and natural, but is hell to blend in with other imagery with a green screen, like the blurry arms at 0:14.

The Rollercoaster Was Invented to Save America from Satan

JustSaying says...

"He was not happy with the amusement diversions that were done at the time such as saloon, brothels and the like."
Done at the time? They were done at all times, all the time, since mankind existed. Of course only a devout christian could think that rollercoasters could be more popular than getting hammered and laid.
That proves again how blurry the line between genius and madman is.

Louis CK Probably won't be Invited back to SNL after this

JustSaying says...

Guys, this ain't so hard...
You're a racist when you assign more or less value as a human being to people of a certain race (ethnical group) than you assign to yourself because of their ethnicity. There's a difference between saying "Stalin is less worth than M.L. King" (personal opinion) and "white people are worth less than blacks". The latter would be racism.
Prejudice is when you have opinions about people before knowing the facts about them.
Walking up to Mike Tyson and saying "You must have a giant cock because all black men are giants" is a prejudice that may be racist but it assigns positive values. Sure, it's offensive, like telling asian people they must be great at math, but somewhat forgivable. You're an ignorant cunt, yeah, but at least you said something flattering. You racist.
Walking up to Mike and telling him "All black men are criminals" is not only prejudice but also racist. Why? Because calling somebody a criminal is a negative judgement. A generalized negative prejudice towards an ethnic group is a racist way of thinking. Mike was convicted for raping his girlfriend. He is a criminal. Not all black men are Tyson. And if they were, I'd prefer the science variant. You're plain wrong.
Now saying "I bet all black people like listening to R'nB music" is just prejudice. There's no judgement here. Right? Unless you consider "he listens to R'n'B" an insult. How about "all polish people love ice cream"? Did you just imply polish people are all fat?
The difference between prejudice and racist prejudice lies entirely in subtext and context. It's not what you say, it's what you mean.
Prejudice is a tightrope made of blurry lines spanning over a pit of outrage. That's why politicians should not walk that way.
Being aware of differences between race, ethnic groups and talking about is simply being hones and probably not giving a shit about political correctness. We ARE different. That's the interesting part.
What we sadly forget is this: to focus on what we have in common. But somebody already said that way more eloquent than I ever could:
"Hath not a Jew eyes? Hath not a Jew hands, organs,
dimensions, senses, affections, passions; fed with
the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject
to the same diseases, healed by the same means,
warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer
as a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed?
If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us,
do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?
If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that.

World's First $9 Computer

MilkmanDan says...

Anyone remember TI graphing calculators, which at the time I was using them (90s) I think ran on 8088 processors?

Quite a bit MORE expensive than this. MUCH less powerful, even factoring in Moore's law. AND, they were in no way intended to be an open, hackable design like this is. And even with all those limitations, they became one of the primary "introduction to hardware and software hacking" devices of my generation.

When I was a 16-year-old HS Freshman, I had a TI-81 that I hooked up to a PC with a serial port and "hacked" zShell onto. I learned a bit of assembly code and put on lots of little programs like games etc. onto my calculator. I even got an image display program where you could load up bitmap images that were converted to a specific size and color depth (4-8 grays if I remember right). I got busted in my Geometry class that year looking at a blurry grayscale picture of a topless Pamela Anderson. On my calculator. If that doesn't put me in the running for biggest nerd ever, I don't know what would.

Anyway, I can only see this "Chip" thing (I agree that I'm not too big on the name) as a very cool idea. Sometimes, something as simple as a hackable platform or a blurry 4-bit picture of some boobs can be enough to push someone towards a lifelong interest in IT and other technology. Raspberry Pi and the others are great too, but the price of this one gives it a real leg up in the universal accessibility department!
