John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum
This looks like it will be better than the second one. The second one had too much plot getting in the way of the blood opera.
"John Wick is in New York. Every elite assassin in the world is trying to kill him. He must escape."
Keeps it simple, does what it's good at. Hopefully.
Vegan Diet or Mediterranean Diet: Which Is Healthier?
No sir....we KNOW vegans are lying.
What I can't understand is why.
There's plenty of evidence that plant based (not vegetarian or vegan) diets are the healthiest choice.
There's plenty of evidence that vegan diets are almost always lacking in nutrition....they can be healthy but it's a full time and expensive proposition.
You are wrong, studies on cultures that eat large amounts of fish show it's good, and most weren't funded by the fishing industries. The Massai are pretty healthy too, and they eat and drink beef, blood, and milk almost exclusively. They have been studied extensively. You seem to always feel compelled to exaggerate enough to be wrong.
You guys think that vegans are lying?
Every single study that shows animal products are good, or neutral are funded by the people that sell them.
It's a shame you do not scrutinize the sellers of these products, as much as you do with vegans who simple want to make the world a more hospitable place for you, and all of the inhabitants.
(There are also plenty of doctors who aren't vegans (like John McDougall, Caldwell Esselstyn, Dean Ornish) who all make very strong points about avoiding animal products.)
Vegan Diet or Mediterranean Diet: Which Is Healthier?
Eating fish and poultry at least twice a week is conspicuously left off the Mediterranean Diet list here.
Fatty fish — such as mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna and salmon — are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Fish is eaten on a regular basis in the Mediterranean diet.
Seems from everything I see, seafood seems to be pretty predominant in Japanese diet intake, the other diet he mentioned in comparison.
So, I figured, let me look up some info on the Dr. presenting here. Neal Barnard is a well known Vegan and founding president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Intriguing, no? Then I looked up the PCRM he is the founding president of (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physicians_Committee_for_Responsible_Medicine). OMG, they just happen to be a non-profit research and advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C., which promotes a vegan diet, preventive medicine, and alternatives to animal research, and encourages what it describes as "higher standards of ethics and effectiveness in research." Its tax filing shows its activities as "prevention of cruelty to animals."
So it is a combination of a Vegan diet promotional group AND PETA. It also seems that they don't mind omitting parts of 'competing' diets to promote their own. Basically this is the equivalent of a organization like Atkins having a doctor like Iris Shai, RD, PhD, show that a low-carbohydrate diet like Atkins had a more favorable effect on blood lipid levels than both the Mediterranean diet or a low–fat diet.
Obviously she must be right, she is a doctor and other doctors support her. So this must mean all the other doctors and diets are wrong, including this one, right?
I'm calling this *propaganda, sorry.
Who Needs Wingsuits?
The evidence showing that cholesterol is related to clogged arteries is this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqKNfyUPzoU Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn (aka, the first person to demostate that heart-disease is curable) explains it in this TEDx Talk.
This is supported by Dr. Kim A. Williams President of the American College of Cardiology, and well as a study done by Dr. Dean Ornish, the doctor you've mentioned before.
There's also some 1300 studies by Dr. William C. Roberts and he concludes that cholesterol is the only major factor.
------
The evidence showing that dietary cholesterol is unrelated to blood cholesterol is........ funded by the egg board where they take people with maxed out cholesterol, and give them eggs, and the result is that their cholesterol cannot climb any higher.
If you like, dig up the studies, and I'll show you their scam :-)
But studies aside, you can literally test this yourself - eat no cholesterol for a week or two, and it will go down, and back up again when you start eating it. It's really that simple.
I'm not sure how you got to not eating cholesterol will clean out your arteries. Dietary cholesterol has no relationship with raising cholesterol in the blood.

but when you think about how not eating cholesterol (only in meat/dairy/eggs/fish) will clean out your arteries,

No, sorry, ditching meat and dairy didn't cure his arthritis. It's likely that swimming and training to freedive relieved his symptoms by effectively oxygenating his blood more efficiently and to higher levels. There is no cure for arthritis.
Free diving requires excessively high iron levels in your blood, which is exceptionally difficult to achieve on a vegetarian or vegan diet. That's why very few top ranked freedivers (or other top ranked athletes) are vegan instead of all of them.
True, vegetables don't have cholesterol, but poly and monounsaturated fats they do contain can still raise human cholesterol levels when over consumed. It's just not as simple as plant good, meat bad.
No clue where you get this 20% boost of O2 use efficiency claim....have any references or even explanations? It contradicts everything I find that shows only around 1/2 the iron found in those few vegetables that contain iron is useable by the body unlike iron found in dark and red meats.
Interesting backstory to this diver Stig Pryds - like many other people , he cured his arthritis by ditching meat and dairy.
He's supposed to be in a wheelchair and on medication.
He started swimming as therapy for his arthritis too, and turns out he's the worlds best freediver......which no doubt makes him talented, but when you think about how not eating cholesterol (only in meat/dairy/eggs/fish) will clean out your arteries, it's no wonder his blood is able to stay oxygenated for longer periods. Along with eating greens, he'll be around 20% more efficient at utilizing oxygen and creating energy.
I wonder if he'll be in the upcoming James Cameron's Game Changers documentary.

Emotional Wedding Haka
Ok, I was going to keep silent, because I am no way an expert on Maori culture, but this is just so full of bullshit.
1: There are obviously Maori people at that wedding... the bride for instance.
2: Women do perform haka, it's just traditionally different from mens haka, but even that is changing/
3: Pakeha can't perform Haka? Tell that to the All Blacks... just make sure your health insurance is paid up first.
4: There are no full-blood Maori's left.... oh fuck right off with that nonsense. There are no "full blood" anybody of any kind left. Doesn't make you any less Maori if that's your culture.
And Kapa Haka can be performed for all kinds of reasons. You can perform a haka to welcome someone to a marae for example.
That was pathetic. Women: not Haka. White people: not Haka. (Not that there are any full-blood Maori's left, but for fuck's sake at least look like one.) Haka now seems to be some kind of novelty dance that anyone can do whenever they please. It is supposed to be terrifying; you are filling your enemies with the fear that that are about to be slaughtered and eaten. Why the fuck would anyone do it at a wedding?

Man Coughs Up A Lung Then Dies
According to the article that I read, he felt much better immediately after coughing up the clot, but the numerous complications of his heart failure (hence the anticoagulants) were too severe for doctors to be able to save him and he died a week later.
They also speculated that the cast was so good due to an infection causing a higher than usual concentration of fibrinogen in his blood making it unusually rubbery.

Alizée with J'en ai marre (the live sexy version)
18-year old French pop diva Alizée Jacotey is featured here, live on March 3rd, 2003. This performance is dedicated to the memory of Laurette Fugain, a young woman who had died from leukemia in 2002. Alizée was part of a live performance that was for charity work, encouraging people to donate the precious gift of blood & to raise money in the fight against diseases of the blood. The mother of Laurette, Stéphanie Fugain, was in attendance for this show, featured here at 3:57 & at the very end, 4:17
.
Alizée has an extraordinary reputation for selflessness. She offers a great deal of her time & energy towards charity work, helping in the fight against hunger as well as raising awareness for blood donations & the fight against blood disorders.
.
This was one of only 6 appearances where she wears her unforgettable short skirt dress, knee-high boots, & thigh-high black stockings while performing her smash hit song, J'en Ai Marre. This performance was done en direct live on French HDTV .
.
The music is composed by legendary composer Laurent Boutonnat while the lyrics are written by famed French singer & cultural icon, Mylène Farmer.
Alizée's popularity, thanks to spectacular performances such as this, has spread far beyond the borders of the great French Republic. -yt
Golden Axe / Rambo -- Listen! Sound familiar?
Pretty sure that's not Rambo, it's First Blood, next was Rambo:First Blood part 2, then Rambo 3 (First Blood part 3), then just Rambo, followed by Rambo 5.
They never could decide how to number their movies....how do you have Rambo 5 with only 3 other Rambo movies preceding it?
TED Talk: Whitopia
I think the majority of white people dont really think much about race because they mostly don't interact with other races. I think it really does depend on where you live.
I grew up in Hawaii where I experienced racism as a white person. In California growing up you notice that the mexicans hang out with other mexicans and blacks with other blacks so you naturally just hang out with other white people. There are exceptions of course but that's all they seem to be for the most part.
In Montana where I live now its almost all white. I didn't move up here for that reason; it's just the way it is.
As a Christian I see all people as created in Gods image and those that Jesus died for. We are all one blood as the scripture says.

Looks like it took blood, sweat and years to find, create, and assemble such a fine one man show.
