Man Escapes 5 Yr Sentence After Dash Cam Footage Clears Him

chingalera says...

Indeed, a horrible jurist, but it's by reason of this very confession that you'd ACTUALLY make an excellent police officer...errrr cop. Oh, sorry...Enforcement Representative.

Almost certain you'd score above-average in the psyche tests at any police academy.

This is a good example of why I can't serve on a jury...I'm honest when they ask if I'm prejudice against any group, and I then tell them 'I can't believe police because they are trained that it's acceptable to use lying as an investigative tool (to get a 'suspect' to give up information for example), and I don't believe they have the capacity to be a liar sometimes and not others...or, once you've admitted you think lying is acceptable, anything else you say is suspect at best'. I'm always instantly dismissed after saying that.
Videos and stories like this prove that point clearly, in my eyes. They were certain their lies would prevail, and they almost did.

Top 10 Actors Who Haven't Won an Oscar

chingalera says...

The Academys' a private little club anyhow that strokes her own bought-and-sold-out team-players more often that not-I would imagine that most of these great actors be they of the method or character camps don't care about Academy Awards, as they have earned over and over, numerous other more sought-after accolades.

...and can you also see the Doucheifyer staring-back at you from reflective surfaces? Ever think about enrolling in a local police academy sir? Perhaps private security to protect some strip-mall would be more your speed?

Cops using unexpected level of force to arrest girl

chingalera says...

No Jigga, you are wrong as well. The people who filmed this wish only to expose the rampant encroachment of the police into every aspect of civil society. The advent of technology in the hands of most people and the increasing awareness of the growing police state worldwide is one of the many stopgaps to a bleak future of decreased human rights and control of humanity by a small majority of agenda-oriented tyrants.

As far as police 'turning into' shitbag assholes? NO. Again you are wrong and completely clueless as tho the psychological profiling that goes on in the process towards someone becoming a 'law enforcement' dickbag.

Alpha types with low intellect and questionable imprint and socialization. Many come from abusive homes or generations of law enforcement. Many in the U.S. are members of or are sympathetic to, the clan and other such organizations or fraternities. MOST are racist, sexist, etc. Many police, were they not accepted into academies of sanctioned thugs would become criminals. Some were very close to becoming gang members, petty criminals, etc.

They dredge from the damaged-goods of society to fill their ranks, and this only gets worse as people like you, and others detached from what really goes on, continue to come the defense of force as a means to control society.

Cops definitely don't need any help form a deluded general public to grow in ranks or develop new and improved ways to exercise force as an arm of those who would control society to their ends.

I can do this all fucking day long, and there will still be the voices of insipid dullards who have by choice, drunk the Kool Aide of "give a fuck as long as I have my MTV."

If you'd have a " bad attitude too if someone was heckling me for my entire career," chances are good you'd make an excellent state thug or sympathizer to the cause of safety over freedom.

Your argument is pathetic and week.

Donald Duck as a Nazi

aaronfr says...

via Wikipedia:

Der Fuehrer's Face (originally titled Donald Duck in Nutzi Land) is a 1943 American animated propaganda short film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released in 1943 by RKO Radio Pictures. The cartoon, which features Donald Duck in a nightmare setting working at a factory in Nazi Germany, was made in an effort to sell war bonds and is an example of American propaganda during World War II. The film was directed by Jack Kinney and written by Joe Grant and Dick Huemer from the original music by Oliver Wallace. The film is well known for Wallace's original song "Der Fuehrer's Face", which was actually released earlier by Spike Jones.

Der Fuehrer's Face won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 15th Academy Awards. It was the only Donald Duck film to receive the honor, although eight other films were also nominated. In 1994, it was voted Number 22 of "the 50 Greatest Cartoons" of all time by members of the animation field. However, because of the propagandistic nature of the short, and the depiction of Donald Duck as a Nazi (albeit a reluctant one), Disney kept the film out of general circulation after its original release. Its first home video release came in 2004 with the release of the third wave of the Walt Disney Treasures DVD sets.

I also believe there are more good cops than bad cops. The issue is the concentration. In most large cities, almost all the cops are/can be bad cops under certain circumstances.

One of my friends in Southern California had multiple members in the Long Beach PD; his dad, and his younger brother who'd just joined. My friend told me how his brother came home during his first week and told him this story:

"We went to this guys house to talk to him and found him in the garage. My superior said 'this is how we get compliance. it also helps to blow off a little steam'. He shut the door to the garage, pulls out his club, and starts repeating 'Stop resisting! Stop resisting!', as he goes to town on the guy. Guy wasn't doing anything other than being uncooperative."

Events like that were something everyone in the area laughed off as being part of life there.

The job also attracts a certain kind of person. When I lived in San Francisco I had an ex-coworker who'd lost his job, and applied to the police force with the absolutely-serious reason of "I want a free-pass to beat the living shit out of people". He was a dark guy really full of hate, and I eventually cut off ties with him. Happily he was never accepted to the Academy.

Detroit should setup a police academy where trainees from all over the country would go to get on-the-job training to fight real crime. Kinda like hospitals have unpaid internships.

Or Hollywood could just buy Detroit, and film all zombie/apocalypse/zombie-apocalypse movies there.

This is the "here buddy smell my fingers, shoot him in the chest" move they teach at the academy. He is not trying to calm it down or grab the leash. This is technically how you do it with a pistol.

8 Months pregnant woman tasered by police

gwiz665 says...

I'm not trying to excuse all cops - there are abusers in that industry, because it attracts people who want to abuse. This should have been rooted out properly when going through police academy 4.

I'm trying to explain why good officers have been driven to the point of violence because they are afraid.

Buck said:

You mean like here in Canada where there are not "random people" having guns?

So the G20 police who are being charged with abuse should have been fine knowing the unlikely chance of a gun being around....right?

Physics Student Owns Cop In Math

lantern53 says...

True, cops don't take math in the academy. Good thing, too, or I'd have flunked out.
But this cop sounds like he's trying too hard and his bad language makes him sound unprofessional. But I agree, don't admit to anything and don't blow into the damn thing cause it ain't admissible anyway.
