Pacific Rim: Uprising | Infected Drone Attack in 4K HDR
Had to laugh @3:07 when the "Girl From Ipanema" music is playing in the elevator which is an on going meme in movies and video games.
Amazing New Japanese Hanabi Fireworks
Ha.
Explain please. I read the entire article/page. Their definition was exactly what I quoted, so it does actually support exactly what I said.
“ Computer-generated imagery, or CGI for short, is a term that describes digitally-created images in film and television. CGI is a subcategory of visual effects (VFX), imagery filmmakers create or manipulate that does not exist in the physical environment being captured on film or video. CGI is instrumental in the making of movies and television shows and serves as the primary method for creating 3D-computer graphics for video games.”
Imagery Filmmakers create OR MANIPULATE that does not exist in the physical environment…exactly what this video is.
Did you actually read it? Because it does say what I’m saying.
You mean because their three examples of CGI films were all pure cgi animation the specific definition they gave doesn’t apply? Lol. It wasn’t an all inclusive list, it was 3 cgi blockbusters.
I hope that’s not your argument. If it is, you should feel ashamed.
lol. that doesn't actually support what you're saying. maybe you should read the rest of it for better context.

If the Xbox Kinect was still around, this sport would make the perfect 2-player Kinect video game.
Avatar: The Way of Water | Official Teaser Trailer
You are not alone. I kept wondering if this was for a video game, the cgi looked terrible on a small screen.
I member Avatar.
I feel like I'm the only one who was unimpressed by this.
No story, no hook, no engagement, no emotional resonance, just a NVIDIA/AMD demo reel of graphics.
I did like the first movie. I love all of JC's movies. I still have incredibly high hopes. But just being honest, this played so slow and cold for me. In fact when I watched it the very first time I wasn't sure if this was recap from the first movie or something new.
They are obviously taking the slow burn approach to marketing here... like "hey, memberberries Avatar?"
I am anxiously awaiting something that gives me that "whoa" moment.

Car Hauler Vs Amtrak train
With the infinite possibilities of life in the universe we could be just a "video game" where some 427 year old child living on a far distant planet or space station is just being entertained with his, her or AI bot choices. Hope this helps.
In a universe of infinite possibilities, how do these things keep getting stuck on a train track, when the train is coming?
How the Mario Characters Got Their Names | Gaming Historian
This video is awesome. *promote
My kids are big video game fans, especially all things Mario related, so I think they're going to be pretty interested to watch this.
Great find!
Quake - Redux
I'm dismayed at the labor of the man who created Vines. He's currently working on a crypto-currency-esque gaming system where block chains are used to issue an artificial limit on the number of software copies that can be used at one time....because I don't have a shit ton of games with zero players already.
MAYBE if they limit players for the new diablo 2 remake to ??? how many? or why? the addition of this to something like the number of copies of a game is like a poison pill in my mind. One of the awesome things about software in general is that i CAN make copy copy copy and it's an EXACT duplicate of what is stored in a different location.
Here's an idea, do that for my SSN not mario cart. https://slashdot.org/story/21/08/19/2055228/vines-creator-is-now-working-on-nft-blockchain-video-games
I want more things to have artificially inflated prices. I can't even remember the last time I had to pay for a "long distance" call to my family who live in a neighboring state.
Hopefully, people will mod this one too.
Lake Oroville Drought, California
This is what our video games have been training us for. Now I get to use everything I learned in Duke Nukem!

Global warming is real; and it's coming--liberal or conservative, North, South--increasing oscillations in weather, increasingly violent oscillations--are gonna be a thing.
