Uh-oh!

newtboy says...

The calls are coming from inside the house.

Now reported, the FBI was tipped off by someone EXTREMELY close to Donny, like family member close, that he had only turned over 1/2 the classified documents he had stolen from the whitehouse, that he was keeping them unsecured in a basement, and might be about to destroy them like he did so many other documents. D’oh!

His appointees, not the left and not Biden, acting on information coming directly from his own household (or family) FOUND a dozen MORE boxes containing classified documents kept totally unsecured in a basement. No wonder you’re so triggered. 5 - 15 years per document. Let me say that again….5-15 years per document. Stealing and exposing classified top secret documents is not a nothing burger, they are two separate felonies….for each page he took and exposed.

Edit: new reporting indicated there WAS a subpoena for these stolen top secret documents served in June, and the FBI took more documents then (on top of the 15 boxes handed over in Feb/March)…then were tipped off by a household member that there were boxes and boxes more still being held. So much for those talking points, I guess we know why Trump won’t release the warrant, it would destroy his story. 😂

Fox Talks About FBI Raid Looking For Classified Documents

bewb admitting Trump did things and something is going to happen to him was a surprise

Imagine going to jail for a law you signed off on. From a search authorized by the FBI director you selected. Signed by a judge you installed. Someone inside your house tipped what and where to find it. Your secret service agents let them in. LOLLLLL

Sen. Whitehouse Questions FBI on Kavanaugh Background

newtboy says...

Come on, people. I know it’s dry politics, but only 2 votes including my own!?

The FBI director admitting under oath that they did not investigate any accusations against Kavanaugh (and yet claimed publicly that they had for years while stonewalling congress), but instead of investigating tips like they claimed repeatedly they had done thoroughly, they in fact just forwarded them directly to the whitehouse and awaited instructions on who to talk to and exactly what to ask them should enrage every American. They are not supposed to just be a propaganda department for the whitehouse.

Another institution totally disgraced and now untrustworthy after being infiltrated by dishonest Trumpists willing to break every rule and law to gain power. Add them to the DOD, secret service, DOJ, etc. All untrustworthy now thanks to Trump’s deep state people.

Guaranteed the same went for unqualified Barrett and Gorsuch…no investigation or vetting at all and every accusation just forwarded to Trump and forgotten.

Not caring about this kind of thing is why the tiny minority of the far right controls so much of this country now. It’s why Republicans have held the presidency for 3/5 terms this millennium despite only getting the most votes once.

You need to care about the degradation and politicization of national institutions or this country is doomed.

Today’s Jan 6 Hearing Summary And Possible Trump Charges

newtboy says...

Bwaaaahahahaha! Wrong again, quoting silly internet lies again, you utter moron. Once again you prove you think you have all the answers but in fact have absolutely zero knowledge or even an ability to learn.

https://www.aap.com.au/factcheck/no-evidence-that-smart-people-quote-is-socrates/
It should have been a tip off that nowhere on the internet can you find where this quote is supposedly found. Sources for what Socrates said are quite limited,it would be simple to source if it were real.

Aaaaaaaaaaahahahaha….haaa….haaa…..aaaaaaahahahaha! You are such a laughing stock. It’s why I talk to you, you are always good for an unintentional laugh, you silly little fool.

“There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.” You, sir, are the epitome, the personification of ignorance. Nice try, pretending you ever read what Plato wrote about Socrates.

Once again, I research and quote scholars, you quote a made up fridge magnet saying.

LMFAHS!!
None so blind as he who will not see.
We know you won’t see any crimes Trump committed, just like you can’t see racism even when you call black people “creatures” that could never live peacefully with humans. You are not a serious adult, and you act like a 3 year old who wasn’t taught to not lie, doesn’t know what morals or ethics are, and has the memory of a gnat.

YOU are a big nothing burger, bob. Your knowledge, nothing. Your ethics, nothing. Your morals, nothing. Your honesty…less than nothing.

Armed insurrection at the direct direction of the president isn’t a nothing burger to any American, only anti-democracy anti-Americans….you fit in that category firmly….a dishonest, fascist, blatantly and constantly racist blowhard that knows nothing and screams it loudly.

Multiple instances of witness tampering with records to prove it aren’t nothing burgers to those who believe in law and order, so you just admitted you’re pro criminality.

Defrauding the election isn’t a nothing burger to anyone who likes democracy, but we’re well aware you don’t like democracy at all.

Defrauding the courts 60+ times isn’t a nothing burger to anyone who likes law and order, which doesn’t include the criminal right anymore, you became anti law and order under Trump.

Maybe Republicans shouldn’t have boycotted the investigation, but you did. No one to blame for the lack of “balance” but yourselves. When the defense rests before opening statements, you can pretend that’s an unfair “trial” but it’s really just the defense being a nothing burger.
(and heads up you ignorant moron….this is not a trial, it’s an investigation looking for evidence of guilt to send to the DOJ…do you think criminals usually get to be part of the investigation? Shadowing investigators so they know exactly what investigators know before crafting their lies and hiding/destroying undiscovered evidence? That is why coconspirators were barred from the panel, it was blatantly obvious they only wanted to be there to disrupt, hinder, confuse, stymie, and discredit the investigation, and to report back to Trump on exactly what they know and exactly what they don’t know yet, helping him craft a lie that hasn’t been pre-contradicted.

Jesus, sometimes you are so dumb I’m shocked you remember to breath.

Lol. More “I’m rubber, you’re glue”. So grown up.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn’t ever need to do research that I cite, would I? But I do, I read 5 articles full of facts and one or two right wing alternate facts to learn a topic before writing.
Now, how much research and citation do you do? Absolutely none because you think you have all the answers, which is why you are proven wrong a dozen times a day and have never once posted correct statistics or facts. You listen to con man Trump or disgraced OAN and think you know it all.

ROTFLMFAHS!! You are such the pot calling the glass pitcher black. What a sad, delusional, frightened, dishonest little man you are.

$2.5 million so far on Jan 6. Not $40-60 million, but that would still be worth it. Safeguarding democracy is cheap at that price. Plenty of importance has come to light, but I wouldn’t expect you to know or acknowledge that, you are certainly remaining willfully ignorant of what’s come to light just like mr mushroom tip told you to do, and no one knows what the closed door testimony was yet besides the DOJ.
It cost near $500000000 to safeguard DC in the months after Jan 6…$2.5 million is literally 1/2 of 1% of one cost of Jan 6.

So let’s talk Benghazi, just one report of 13 cost taxpayers $7 million. So far, the Republicans have wasted $22 million on Benghazi, and $100 million total on investigating Clinton with no charges and no revelations of import, and no infractions Trump didn’t repeat.

Right. A concerted effort to perform a violent coup coupled with a second concerted effort to defraud the election using fake electors with forged documentation and a lie about election fraud is, to you, nothing of importance.
Sorry, I find democracy important.
Sorry, I find the constitution to be important.
Sorry, I find treasonous sedition against the union to be important.
I think prosecuting 874 seditious traitors to America and the constitution is important, and i think uncovering who the other appropriately 1100 more are is important.
I think knowing Trump knew his fraudulent voter fraud scheme was illegal before it started is important (since he was declared too stupid to know working with Russia to discredit Clinton was illegal in the past).
I think knowing the voter fraud theory came from something a drunken Giuliani found on Facebook or Twitter with no evidence, before the votes were counted, was important.
I think uncovering the begging for pardons by senators and representatives that planned the coup is important (it’s an admission of guilt and of knowledge of a crime).
I think a Supreme Court judge’s involvement in the coup is important.
That’s barely scratching the surface of important evidence that’s come to light so far.

This….this is why we say you are probably a Russian. You act like defending democracy and the American government are nothing important and nobody cares. No American would think that, but it is true that you SAYING something doesn’t mean you actually think it’s true.

bobknight33 said:

how much has been spent on investigation Trump ? 40 ---- 60 Million and still nothing of importance has come to light.

I still think you're a Russian troll. I can't fathom why anyone would be so anti American aside from that. I'm tracking down your other aliases. Mine is always "Jiggajonson" fyi and my name is Jon, American supporter of a democratically elected politicians.

I'll touch the bottom of this swamp yet, comrade. When I do, I'll keep the FBI tip line handy. I've been quiet on this site but I've been watching you. Internet Research Agency 2.0 pumping out anti Ukraine propaganda today.

Here's to hoping you're just an idiot. If so, get your head out of your ass.

Oliver Stones thoughts on why Putin invaded Ukraine

StukaFox says...

I don't believe this was ever about taking Ukraine with the Russian military. I believe this is about destroying Ukraine and squeezing Europe's energy-dependent balls until the EU cracks under the economic pressure caused by the sanctions. This is already happening with Germany whimpering to Daddy Vladdy for all that precious, precious oil and gas. "Oh, we gave Zelensky a billion euros!"; yeah, and you gave Putin 25x that in oil/gas purchases.

The mealy-mouthing and dissembling has already begun, most shamefully from the New York Times, who is calling for Ukraine to make "hard choices". "This isn't capitulation" -- fuck you NYT, yes it is.

I had honest hopes that the western powers would show some spine and resolve, but as soon at their economies started to feel a little pain, the number of fucks given for Ukrainian lives went to zero. Russian is going to rape and murder its way from Odessa to the Belarus border until the western powers figure out some way to make it all Zelensky's fault or force him to cede massive amounts of Ukrainian territory before any real economic pain felt.

The worst part is that Finland and Sweden are going to be granted NATO membership, but Ukraine still is denied. Why are these two the hills NATO is willing to die on and Ukraine not? If NATO isn't willing to risk nuclear war over Ukraine, what happens when the tip of a single Russian boot touches Finnish soil? What happens when Finland then calls for Article 5 and the rest of NATO suddenly realizes shit just got real? What happens when it's time to shit or get off the pot; put up or shut up? Either NATO charges into the teeth of a potential nuclear war, or NATO is shown to be a paper tiger. If someone sees a middle ground, I'm interested in hearing it.

(Incidentally, NATO's Article 5 is pretty porous. A-5 doesn't say every NATO nation commits whatever forces are deemed necessary by the whole to defend against an aggressor. Instead, it says that in the event of A-5 coming into play, each member will take "such action as [the member state] deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area."

Notice the whole 'each member' and 'deems necessary'? Yeah, to quote a popular movie 'I don't think this mutual defense pact means what you think it does'.)

Sioux Falls police officer delivers DoorDash order

newtboy says...

At first I was annoyed that a cop, in uniform on payroll and on duty, using his official police car, was delivering food as a side hustle.
When he said the delivery driver had been arrested (I can’t make out why) my estimation went from double dipping for extra cash to doing a good deed for an uninvolved citizen.

I was a delivery driver as a teen, delivering lunch to offices in Silicon Valley, so often $200- $400 orders. I once got in a wreck on a delivery and my first thought was “how do I deliver this food before it gets cold?”. Fortunately, our company used radios and they just sent another driver to make the delivery (and get my tip). I don’t know if door dash has the ability to reassign deliveries, but it’s nice (and out of character) of the officer to drop it off for free.

3D without glasses, Cross-Eye HD

BSR says...

Practice holding your finger straight up in front of your face and look at the tip of your finger. Move your finger toward and away from your face while focusing on your fingertip. As your finger gets closer to your face your eyes will start to cross in a controlled manner.

Next, do the same thing but this time keep looking at your fingertip but notice 3 images. The middle image will appear 3D. This will help you find the sweet spot and should be much easier to see the 3D effect without using your finger. Remember to keep your eyes level so as to keep the two images aligned horizontally.

I would also suggest making the video full screen so nothing else but the video is showing. Be about arms length away depending on the size of your screen. The further you are from the screen, the less you have to cross your eyes.

I've made many crosseye 3D photos but no 3D videos.

Australia's Honest Government Ad | COP26 Climate Summit

newtboy says...

I think the worst part of these summits is their stated goals.
Paris intended to keep warming to 1.5 degrees by 2050 (no real plan beyond then)…but you might recall, 1.5 degrees of warming is considered the tipping point where feedback loops and natural processes outpace human inputs, meaning even if we hit zero emissions by 2050, and if everyone kept to their Paris agreement promises, and if other nations don’t continue to ramp up emissions, and if unforeseen feedback loops aren’t stronger or faster acting than predicted, we still lose control completely by 2050. That’s the best plan we have, runaway climate shifts in <30 years AT BEST….and no one seems to be living up to even that planned disaster of a plan. Emissions aren’t being cut, they’re increasing. Feedback loops are ramping up 40 years earlier than predicted. All the while, people are complaining that gas is over $3 (I haven’t seen it under $4 in decades where I live) and insisting we adopt some heavily polluting power generation instead of investing in green energy solutions. People assume, it seems, that some last minute fix will solve climate change, ignoring the fact that emissions from today are reactive in the atmosphere for between 25 and 150 years, so we needed to be at net zero 25 years ago to even start effecting the atmosphere today…and some emissions from the industrial revolution are still effecting us now. Net zero by 2050 (a pipe dream, and the best plan so far) is planning to fail completely…like turning off the blast furnace in your house when the thermometer hits 450.5 inside and thinking you can stop it from burning down.
If Covid taught us anything, it’s that there is 0% chance humans will be able to cooperate enough to tackle climate change. People were asked to simply wear a mask and distance a bit to save their lives, and enough refused to do it that the methods that worked beautifully elsewhere failed miserably to control a virus. If we can’t pull off such a simple, blatantly obvious plan against a virus, what chance is there of cooperation across the board to sacrifice enormous amounts of money and completely revamp our wasteful way of life in uncountable ways to stop something seen as a future problem by many? IMO, there so little chance of pulling it off that it’s statistically correct to say there’s absolutely no chance at all.
