Yes. Just like I pretend there were no sequels to Highlander.

I have a pretty good grasp on the assassin's creed storyline, ignoring some of the story bending needed to obtain said artifacts and create gameplay elements that are quickly dismissed in the sequel.

From the looks of it, they did a good job finding an interesting time period (1478+) while allowing the movie arc to start early enough to make plenty of sequels. The game is quickly running out of the past already.

The animus interface looks stupid though.

I am continually impressed this series keeps grinding on. How many sequels have there been since CoD4? I've lost count.

The sequel, P For Pancetta, wasn't as good. But sequels rarely are.

They finally made a sequel to Dungeons and Dragons The Movie. But I guess they couldn't afford Jeremy Irons this time.

Sadly, it happens to most of the actors that get tied to long term sequels. Only a few manage to break out of it, usually because they take other roles similar to the ones they had, they were already famous before the role, or they are just really good actors.

I mean, think about the original Star Wars trilogy, other than Harrison Ford the rest of the cast kind of disappeared; although I guess you could give Mark Hamill a nod for his voice acting work later on.

From the title I somehow hoped this was a sequel/prequel to Event Horizon. Disappointed.

You know, you'd think since they are making the sequel they would have the original on Netflix, but no. Time to fire up the torrent client.

I never cared for these films. There are so many, greater eastern films of fantasy and action.

OK. I concede that sometimes the later parts of a series can be better than the second one. ;-)

But among the three Nolan Batman Movies, the second one is by far the best.

And nobody would argue the Terminator 2 is better than 3, 4 and 5 (and in my opinion even 1).

Star Trek 2 (The Wrath Of Khan) is still one of the best Star Trek movies.

Back then I thought that DIe Hard 3 was more part of the Lethal Weapon series than a real Die Hard movie, but after 4 and 5, the majority rule makes it clear that Die Hard and Die Hard 2 are not part of the Die Hard series. ;-)
