The problem with "Defund the Police" is right there in the name, and its name only. It's understandable that those who lost hope on reforms felt the need to escalate into using the term "Defund."

Finding stuff allows cops to stop by again with in 6 months and now have right for thorough search. Same deal search, take and fine. If 3rd search occurs and find stuff then criminal charges filed if heavy drugs or amounts found.

With this in place no would / should put up a fight. Cops not to make arrest, populate jails or f over people with high court costs.

This should help change bad behavior, let minor crap slide, and bad dudes land in jail fair and squarely.

I know this is bucking the trend, but: Yeah, where did the kid get all that aggression and yelling from? Clearly the dad didn't raise him that way he says, as he yells in escalating rage.
Great job making the kid accountable, but poor job modelling. My kids would have been made to apologize and then voluntold for a week cleaning up the store and stocking shelves after a written apology and a handshake. And the main emotion they would get from me is disappointment, but eventually pride when they completed everything. Speak softly and carry a big stick.

Cops definitely shouldn’t be allowed to just barge into a person’s home BUT with that said, given her agitated and aggressive state and the way she is screaming at the person off-screen, I can somewhat understand why the cops may have thought there was an issue. Especially considering that the front door was open and they were responding to a disturbance. As a home owner myself, it’s not the way I’d have handled the situation but we don’t have the entire context either.

Edit: ...and I guess not being a black person in the US, I typically don’t fear the police shooting me or immediately feel the need to act aggressive towards them. But still, even though she was likely in her rights, she was escalating that situation. Then again, maybe she had tried to calmly ask them to leave prior to the start of the video...
