When I went to school, the bus driver would put you off the bus about a mile from your stop and make you walk. I had to make the walk of shame a couple of times.

Wow, that has to be the first "I'm a cyclist, look what this asshole did!" video I've seen where the cyclist did absolutely nothing wrong and was completely following the law.

Not only did the bus driver almost squash him, but he "underpasses" the other traffic and barely avoids running the red light. Most likely through excessive speed. He should have gotten more than a note on his file...

This is akin to posting videos of school bus crashes, then painting all bus drivers as irresponsible, lazy etc, telling your kid to be careful driving around school buses because they get in crashes all the time, meanwhile school buses transport thousands of children every day with no trouble.

But I understand people like to hate on the cops, they carry guns, most of us don't, they have power over others etc.

but at the same time this trolley driver had plenty of time to see the car, slow down, and stop. He must not have been paying attention because he didn't slow down at all until after the collision. Or Russia.

I don't understand why trolley drivers get paid more than bus drivers when they don't even have to steer...

poignant in Ottawa right now. Last week, a bus drove through the safety gates and crashed into a moving train. 6 dead, others injured. Still no word as to why the bus driver did not slow down (or maybe he sort of tried, depends on the witness.)
