iTunes alternative for Ubuntu?

Has anyone found a good one? I've tried a bunch... they either don't do podcasts or correctly handle SHA1's on the iPod Classic.

I'm using iTunes on Windows...which takes 100% CPU. I'd really like to find an Ubuntu-native alternative that's efficient.

Edit: Video support would be nice, but not a show-stopper.

ITunes lets you export your subscriptions as OPML, which makes it easier to recreate those podcast subscriptions.

I use amarok with the ipod. Don't know about podcasts, I'm not really into that. It has a Last.FM stream player with feedback though. Oh, this amarok 1.4. Amarok 2.0 was a complete rewrite and still can't do everything 1.4 could due to different internals.

Be aware that you'll have to manually set the device ID on the ipod classic for it to work under linux though. Took me a day to figure that out.

I don't know about podcasts, but Amarok does a pretty good job with radio streams.

I was able to use FireFox to listen to a couple of webcasts and a remote *.mp3 with the "Podcast Alley Player."

Was forced to download some GStream packages and got some video with one setup.

And the Totem Movie Player worked for the *.mp3, too.
