Purple crocodile cereal?
Okay. So there was a cereal mascot, probably from the early '90s or perhaps the late '80s. I'm pretty sure he was a crocodile, and he was purple. The cereal was a Cheerios knock-off that I'm pretty sure is no longer being sold. And I remember there used to be a lot of ads on TV for this cereal, with the crocodile being funky or something. And no one I know remembers this! Google searches come up with nothing. Come on, someone must remember this guy!
Edit: Well, NetRunner helped me solve it. The cereal was Cruncheroos, and the mascot was Crunchosaurus Rex.

NETRUNNER! I could kiss you right now. Cruncheroos! Man, that's a load off my mind. I'm not crazy! But I guess the mascot (Crunchosaurus Rex) was a dinosaur, not a crocodile. And he didn't wear a hat. Other than that, my drawing... dead on.

I'm answering this pretty late, but I just stumbled across this. I HAD to find this because I had such vivid memories, both of seeing these commercials and eating the cereal itself, and yet NO ONE I knew remembered it (including my brother, who presumably saw the commercials and ate the cereal as well), and I couldn't find any evidence of it on google.
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy, I guess.
