dystopianfuturetodaysays...*moon *water
siftbotsays...Boosting this quality contribution up in the Hot Listing - declared quality by dystopianfuturetoday.
therealblankmansays...But what about the CHEESE?!?
andybesysays...Anyone got a link to the full press conference video? Probably being daft here but I just can't seem to find it...
honkeytonk73says...God(tm) put the water there 6000 years ago for us to find. So glad 'he' (yes he has a penis) thinks so highly of us by doing that. After all.. the entire Universe was created in a single day after the Earth was created in 3 days. All existing for our sole benefit. What a nice guy. Shucks golly gee.
Paybacksays...Yesterday: NASA finds water in moon.
Today: NASA plans to fund Moon Base by bottling "Moon Glacier Spring Natural Water"
GeeSussFreeKsays...Come and listen to a story about a government body named NASA
A poor underfunded government organization, barely kept its hundreds of thousands of families fed,
Then one day he was shootin at some moon,
And up through the ground came a bubblin' crude.
Water that is, clear gold, for making tea.
Well the first thing you know ol' NASA's a worth is billions there,
Country folk said NASA move away from here
Said Moonyforinia is the place you ought to be
So they loaded up the rockets and moved to Heilein crater B.
hole, that is.
Swimmin pools, moving stars.
The NASA Hillbillies!
Crosswordssays...Now if they could just find a crater filled with pizza rolls and some breathable air I'll be all set. I can leave this planet full of crazy monkeys behind.
Yogisays...So how much did this cost...and will this guy explain to us why it's worth it?

"Significant amounts of water could make it easier to set up a base camp for astronauts." -AP
You need to read the video comments more buddy.
TheFreaksays...The Moon has lots of water and 'other' stuff. MINE THAT SHIT!
Bring in the tractors and dump trucks and refineries and don't stop scraping moon 'till you've got it all. There's profit to be made and money is the only important measure of success.
entr0pysays...From what I understand, this will make it easier to construct things on the moon using materials found on the moon. Now all we have to do is build a few hyper intelligent robots with the ability to repair and replicate themselves, and shoot them at the moon along with plans for some nice moon villas. Wait a few years for them to finish their task, then move in. It's a fool proof plan.
