Middle School Football Trick Play

I don't really call that playing dirty. He gambled, played with their heads, and won. I'm pretty sure Sun Tzu has a line in The Art of War about not doing what the enemy expects you to do.

Thing is though, a play like that only works once.

I hate stuff like this. I just don't think it's a very sporting thing to do. You're basically playing on the fact that the other team will be too afraid of tackling the guy because they believe it to be a dead ball situation. They are only middle school kids...I would be absolutely embarrassed to do this if I were a coach.

And further it's not a very responsible play call by the coach IMO because what if one of the other team's players is wise to what's going on and takes a 10 yard sprint and absolutely obliterates your QB? You are putting a kid in a pretty bad spot here.

To all people saying this is awful and unsporting. It's SPORTS! Have a bit of fun it's not always about being all chivalrous and kind...it's sometimes about having a good laugh.
