Same here. Haha. It is not pretty as Star Citizen game, but dang I had fun with this game and tiny meeting room. The people there were awesome. Even free drinks and food! I even got to meet the team! Beat that big game booths. They care not!

darkly beautiful and AWESOME! Somehow I feel even my 1 year old computer won't come close to the required specs...but a boy can hope.

Are you serious? Have you not seen the games we are currently playing? This is childs play.

This game will have a limited player base but that isn't a problem really. What is a problem is the title... This game gets the worst title of 20xx. If they spent as much time on the title as they did the game, I would be really worried.

It works beautifully with TrackIR. The UI is truly built for a HOTAS + [TrackIR or Oculus Rift] setup. I've been playing it since alpha and this is the real deal. The Star Citizen folks have their work cut out for them, even if they have 10x the budget. As a long time space sim fan I hope both games achieve greatness though.

It's named after one of the ranks you could achieve in the original game, but I agree - "Elite: Dangerous" does sound like a 6-year-old boy named it.

I'm hyped about both this and Star Citizen, but this is due out *way* ahead of SC and the physics look more interesting.

Set in a 1:1 scale, scientifically-accurate (as far as possible) milky way? Near-Newtonian physics? I'm nursing a semi.

Huh? What games are you currently playing?

And please don't confuse cinematic production value with immersiveness,

Sorry It was in response to newtboy, in which I was actually referring to production value and pc hardware requirements. I am expecting this game to be kind of like eve where there is a deep underlying strategy and building game underneath its space battle like visuals. Again not alot of people cup of tea which is why no ones ever come into my store asking if we sell "EVE", but that doesn't mean its a bad game. Just a bad title.
