blankfist gets a DUI

Read your constitution! Nowhere in the constitution IS ANY PASSAGE about drunk driving!

Nor is water boarding in the constitution. Of course you could claim it's torture, but that is subjective. Is it more tortuous than dressing a man in stinky ball-sweat underwear that was worn by others? To feed him slop that pigs eat? To keep him locked up for 35 years for stealing (Even if it is 3 billion dollars?)

Or where black men do years more for the same crime white women do? Or white men for that matter? Or the fact that pot will end you up in jail--or worse, you could lose your kids and house over weed?

Please, water board me in all those circumstances... Please?

^ Most of that is sarcasm. Except "Please water board me if I get another punishment."

But seriously, RP never advocates against crimes that hurt others--in fact this guy would piss him off royally. This guy abuses freedom--not practices it. He hides behind it when busted. RP always argues that States should be able to put this guy behind bars.

Am I the only one who saw that as clearly bad acting? Like someone play acting drunk and doing a poor job?

I invite you to look at the BAC tables:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_alcohol_content

At over 0.30 this dude should have been unconscious or having trouble standing, and his motor skills seemed fine. Now, some hardcore alcoholics are able to have higher BAC with less lethal effects from decades of drinking, but I'm pretty sure this was just a gimmick to portray Ron Paul supporters as drunks.

Watch him walk at the end, and his ability to lean back with arms cuffed behind his back. There is no way he was 0.3 BAC.

Agree, he's acting.

I'm downloading the episode now, but I'm going to bed. I'm curious if there was footage of him driving or anything, or if the camera crew just came up on the scene as it's presented in this clip.

I'll probably report back tomorrow night.

Good call, I thought something seemed a bit off with his behavior in general for a drunk. His use of sarcasm directly towards the camera just before he gets in the car is a pretty clear sign of lucidity.

Who cares if he's acting or not? Do you libertarians actually think that we believe he's coherently spouting your political views? If he's drunk he's a drunk moron...he's not drunk therefore libertarians are stupid.

God you guys are such fucking babies.

Alcoholics can often exceed what would be considered normal standards, often by large amounts.

This was pretty much the entire segment that aired. There was a little intro, where deputy 2 is talking about how this is a resort town and at night there's not much to do, so people get drunk. He's then driving up to assist deputy 1. Then it goes to commercial break. The show then resumes and that's where this clip starts.

No one else has asked... but where's his car? Since when do cops not park directly behind the car they pull over? It appears this guy is just walking, but he's supposedly giving a DUI.

Most of the content on these "reality" shows is staged. The producers probably came across this guy in one of the resort bars and thought he was funny. So they took him out and tried to make it look like they were giving him a field sobriety test.

I believe he is referring to this:

"Constitution: Plymouth Gin infused with T Salon chamomile tea and blueberries, and mixed with Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, fresh lemon juice and siphoned soda water."

I think you may have found the gayest drink ever.

A drink called the Constitution should be Kentucky Bourbon, Motor Oil, Leather and a dash of Gunpowder muddled together using an American Flagpole and garnished with Awesome.

the point is that the ceo for fox reality channel takes over natgeo which then airs what appears to be a bad actor trying to disparage Ron Paul or his supporters. He didn't look like someone at 0.3bac
