eric3579says...Reminds me of every movie scene with empty cars scattered along the highway. There has to be a dozen or two films with such scenes. I'm thinking end of the world or zombies. Name those movies or better yet find a video of those scenes.

eric3579says...You are not even trying Need that scene when a car is driving on a roadway littered with automobiles and no one to be seen. Like the sifted video but with no people on the road.
(edit) maybe it's a bad idea to post lots of videos in the comment thread. I always feel bad when a comment thread goes on about something not really related to the video posted.
My bad for asking, Sorry.

diggum317says...So what happened to all the people who were in those cars? Seems like it is in the middle of nowhere.
TheFreaksays...In the case of this storm, 100's of people were still stranded in their cars the next day. People stuck in their vehicles after Colorado storms are often picked up by emergency vehicles, national guard, good samaritans, etc. Most people in Colorado also carry emergency supplies in their car in case they get stuck like this.
I don't even know what's going on here. It was a cyclone with really high winds but only like a foot of snow. Not really a blizzard. It looks like a lot of those cars drove off the road when there was zero visibility and then got stuck. The rest are probably stuck because sudden ice made the roads impassable.
That storm started with reasonably warm weather and rain, then a sudden (SUDDEN!) drop in temperature and high winds. I think below that thin layer of snow was undrivable ice.
So what happened to all the people who were in those cars? Seems like it is in the middle of nowhere.
Sleddgesays...its got to be really bad when the snow plow truck gets stuck
