i wouldn't call it a smack down.
two different opinions on the isreali/palestinian conflict and it appeared cenk let his emotions get the better of him but he made some salient points.
in my opinion the biggest being "you want isreal to be at war forever",because that is the crux of their discourse.
one person recognizes isreals right of ownership and the other recognizes palestines right.this is bound to create friction due to it being polar opposites of each other.
the whole talking over each other is annoying though.

I actually approve of how Obama handles Netanyahu during this whole thing. He has no control over his government and if there's going to be any progress at all, there has to be some US pressure on Israel to get things started.

That was a poor performance from both talking heads. Cenk is wrong about Isreal, they ceeded bits of the westbank within the last decade.

Talking head guy is wrong to get upset after setting up a strawman argument. Using a strawman to define someone's position is a lame way to debate the audience and not the participant.

This douchebag only argument was "trust me" and "Israel is our ally". No one since 1967 has ever thought that Jerusalem was not divided into peacfully controlled other interests. Including a Christian section.

Israel was the last nation state to attack and sink a naval ship. In fact, it was the most expensive ship ever built.

Wouldn't it be better for everyone if we just stopped using phrases like "this guy destroying that guy", "getting owned", "laying the smackdown on" etc? And I really don't think it's Slipperypete's place to change perfectly fine tags with the interjection of his own opinion.
