Why the hell did they turn it into a comedy? I did laugh a couple times, especially the last bit since they set it up, but I don't recall the original show being a comedy.

Same I guess could be said for 21 Jump Street, which I don't recall being a comedy the way the movies appear to be (I haven't seen the movies).
