I prefer the earlier PMJ version of this, because Kate Davis has a beautiful Patsy-Cline-ish-country-soul voice that works well with this particular arrangement (and she plays the bass) but this is still excellent. And I will be at their London gig this Sunday!

Ironic that no performer here has anything approaching the "bass" the song is actually about...

It doesn't matter how many people redo this song, and how many of these people have amazing talented voices. I just don't like the song.

...actually, she's his daughter. So I guess having the same last name isn't that odd. Sorry.
