Joe Rogan Slams Dr. Drew's Views On Pot

Aniatario says...

No offense but I think I know my own body.

When I cut back on smoking pot alot of things changed, I have a hard time believing my lack of appetite and constant anxiety was "all in my head" I asked around, I talked to people, many of whom experienced the exact same symptoms.

You think I'm full of shit? Fine, frankly I really don't care. But when you're smoking all day everyday and find yourself needing more and more weed just to maintain that same level of high, there has to be drawbacks. I felt them, I experienced them, it was a very dark and depressing moment of my life.

Sorry to "chime in."

Joe Rogan Slams Dr. Drew's Views On Pot

^First off, weed is a relatively benign substance, no it won't give you lung cancer or kill your brain cells but believe it or not there can be withdrawal symptoms, I know because I've experienced it. During my last year of university I smoked weed constantly, at least a couple of grams a day. Whenever I'd stop smoking my nerves would be shot and I'd have absolutely no sense of appetite.

It's not anywhere near as bad as quitting cigs mind you but it's still remarkably unpleasant, imagine not being able to eat and having a small sense of panic over a 24 hour period for absolutely no reason at all, that's pretty much what it felt like.

edit: And yes Dr.Drew is full of shit here, mostly.

Louis strikes me as the type of guy that will leave the business before others think he's ready. I think that once he's out of shit to say or he's not having fun anymore he'll disappear (or shift his efforts)>> ^Yogi:
Don't worry Louis you were right and it's all downhill from here.

I dunno if he's going to run out of ideas any time soon, he's just that good. That, and the fact that he takes a tremendous amount of inspiration from George Carlin. I remember reading his response to his recent success surrounding his "Live at the Beacon" performance. Much like Carlin, he approaches every performance as though it were his "annual crop." Reaping the fruits of his labour and then moving on to work on a brand new routine.

He actually took the time to address a few questions on reddit recently and I remember him saying that he has no plans of performing any of the jokes he prepared for his "Live at the Beacon" performance. The fact that he continues to pump out new and hilarious material as opposed to riding out a gravy train is pretty phenomenal.

I'm 'bout halfway through Dance o Dragons and considering the scope/vastness of the Books, I'm surprised you guys can tie any of plot lines to their respective novels.

There's WAAAY too much going on all at once for me to keep track..

edit: I actually sat down and watched an episode of season 1 the other day, all I kept thinking was..
