90s isn't 'Vintage'... Yet :-)
Please try to keep your vintage posts over 25 years old if at all possible. 70s and older is best, but I've put some in from '80 to '85
Thanks

Yeah, thinking of the early eighties as "vintage" stings badly enough.
Haven't you said before that anything is vintage if it's just 20 years old? I know it still excludes all '90s videos, but not most stuff from the '80s. I'm just doing what you originally asked, is that so wrong?
Is the Alzheimer's setting in?

Yeah, thinking of the early eighties as "vingate" stings badly enough.
Thinking of anything as "vingate" is bad enough for me too.
Thats why I say TRY to keep it 25 years. A few of you suggested that it should have been more time.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I just turned 39 again
What's this TRY crap?
Try not. Do, or do not, there is no try.
You should know that.
50 -40 years is vintage. then again movies age badly, but that has nothin' to do with an abstract tag like vintage.
The bloody eighties aren't vintage.
If something happened yesterday can I call it *vintage November?
It works different in computer games.. C&C is a vintage game, Pong is a vintage game, tetris is a vintage game.
The spirit of the channel is vintage 'footage'. The actual clip is 20 to 25 years. That's why I've removed so many made-to-look vintage sifts. They don't actually carry the years.
Pong would count as vintage if it is a commercial of the time. How old is Tetris now?
Bluecliff , that has been a bug for folks before. I had some folks say no older than 70s as the cut off, then there were kids in here putting things as young as the 90s. It was vintage for them.
I compromised.
Now I'm back tracking a bit. There is already an 80s channel. We should be making our cut off the 70s
I concur!
Of course the 90's ain't vintage. It's my future channel, and I'll have none of that.
damn...I'm vintage.
I'd say if there's a channel for the decade, why would you need to append "vintage" to it?
CLEARLY *QUALITY

Well...eventually we'll have a consensus. I will tag 70s and under for vintage and correct what I come across.
I always thought something vintage was characterized by excellence and enduring appeal...but apparently it means old.
I can't wait to promote this in 2015 during Obama's second term.
