I just started a blog about candy
Yeah, that's right, I'm about to use this space for some pretty shameless self promotion. [cue evil laughter]
I just started a blog called Candyrageous, where I'll be reviewing various candies. I've got a few reviews up, but the blog is still very new so if anyone has any feedback I'd definitely appreciate that. I've been using Wordpress, which so far I would recommend pretty highly for anyone starting a blog -- I first tried it a couple of years ago, and it seemed pretty buggy, but I think they've worked out most of the bigger kinks because it's (mostly) seamless.
Oh, and I don't think you realize how difficult it is to find a decent domain with the word "candy" in it. Sheesh. I think I must have tried a hundred different things before I came up with Candyrageous.

You made some mighty tasty lookin' pictures:)
Would be interesting where all the candybar ingredients come from and how they were produced/under what conditions..
My family used to have a candy distribution business. My grandfather started it in 1917. We sold it in 1984 after my father passed away.
We used to go to candy conventions with my dad. There were activity groups for the teens and another one for the younger ones. Each group would go places in the host city. The sample room limited people to one small tote bag. Samples were also handed out in the big show room.
I love me some candy!
I don't know if it was around in your time, dotdude, but the All Candy Expo seems to be the big one, at least as far as North America is concerned. It's pretty much my dream to attend that show, so I'm hoping this blog will eventually let me do that.
I had to look through my souvenir file to find a title of the organization that put on the convention: National Candy Wholesalers Association.
Sweet!
Looks like fun.
My faves: Toblerone, Reeses Pieces, those funky little white bricks with the multi-colored spots.
Rice Krispy Treats.
I've never been much of a candy guy, except when I was young. That Big Turk looks disgusting. Chocolate and gummy candy? No thanks.
By the way, have you ever tried a candy called Deez?
I've never tried Deez, but you can have all the Deez you want, blankfist. I'll pass.
And rougy: What white bricks? I don't think I've ever tried that.
DEEEEEZ muthafuckin White bricks! Haha. What? You weren't going for my bait, so I was desperate.
