Hackers
Justin and I just watched the movie 'Hackers' together. It's his favorite, and it was my first time seeing it. And I gotta say - I understand now why it’s his favorite! It was made in 1995 and like the title suggests is about this one group of hackers. They get involved with some macho, money-stealing asshole when one of them gets some dirt on what he’s up to, and have to use their hacking know-how to save themselves from being framed and to get the truth out ( and the guy caught ). The interaction between all the characters is hilarious ( my favorite character being Emmanuel Goldstein, played by Matthew Lillard ) and not only that- Angelina Jolie’s tits flash across screen a total of what.. three times? Once covered, but barely.
This is definitely a movie for geeks, 'cause it involves some hilarious out-of-date computing ( toaster boxes, and believe it or not - a laptop with a 28bps modem! ) and a pretty ingrossing plotline.. And not only is the chick in the group hot and incredibly kickass, she’s rocker and played by a young Angelina Jolie. I highly suggest watching it.

Love this movie, seen it many times. Especially because of the young Angelina Jolie with some actual meat on her bones (she's much, much more attractive that way). I remember before she was who she is now when I first saw her and was like "WHOA! That's the chick from Hackers!"
The only thing that bothered me, that would bother any computer person I'd imagine, is when they're hacking they hack via a bunch of goofy graphics floating around. And yeah, very funny about the "Whoa, this has a 28 dot 8 bps modem and 16 million colors???!!!"
Can't wait for the day we look back and laugh at a quad core at 4 Ghz with 4 gigs of ram.
When I had a 286 I thought it was the shit man.
Hackers is classic geek cheese. Like Tron and Lawnmower Man.
I used to tell my girlfriend I wanted to do her in VR to make it more real. Hahah.
ROOT/.workspace/.garbage.
A great movie for 90's computer geeks or guys willing to watch 90 minutes to see a 1 second shot of Angelina's nips.
The only thing I remember about that movie was the uber-cheesy line 'Hack the planet!' and the guy that would later go on to play (fishman?) the fellow on 'Early Edition,' a show I used to adore on CBS.
