You know. I like Portal, I enjoyed it, I thought it was way too short... but I really don't feel it deserves QUITE the amount of adulation it receives.

Spot on for being a different game using a different mechanic and having some nice humour, but MAN, some people treat it like the second coming of christ or something.

max payn is a far better game than portal i win

I think Deus Ex is at the top of that list, and he has referenced it as being a good game before. Then again that might just be my wishful thinking and longing as I enjoyed Deus Ex.

Perhaps it's simply not an issue to most people, as they understood what was meant?

PoP: the Sands of Time was the awesome, even if the sparse combat was frustrating at times.
PoP: Warrior Within has great combat, but the one giganto level is so confusing I have no idea how to beat it without a strategy guide.
PoP: Two Thrones... haven't got there yet, because I haven't finished Warrior Within.

Agree. It's such a great game that it's a fucking tragedy it's over so soon. One of those games you want to go on forever. Hoping the next one has at least 100 levels/challenges. I highly recommend Echochrome for anyone who's seen it all in Portal and is still thirsting for similar puzzle action.
