Partially a standard word, as depending on the circle of people, it often just means 'person'. I.e. the statement "This cunt's a fuckhead", it's actually the "fuckhead" part that indicates that the speaker is displeased with the individual as all the other words are used as non-venomous reference points.

A mate often feels the need to specify "and that's with a C" when she's actually meaning it in a derogatory way, as all other references are supposedly with a "K", and that somehow makes it meaningless, silly but that's the logic of some.

But as always there's many that just can't see it as anything but negative.

Id never say it out loud but LOVE when i hear Australians and Irish saying it. It always made me happy when this Irish guy i knew called me and everyone else cunts. I found it endearing.
