Yogg +0 World First Kill by Stars

Stars, a Chinese guild playing on the Taiwan server Crystalspine Stinger get another world first achievement in WoW! This is the last 5% of Yogg-Saron being killed in hard mode (25 man) with no Keepers assisting the raid. This is for the Heroic: Alone in the Darkness achievement, and for the first guild to get this achievement get the title <Name>, Death's Demise for each character present during the kill.

What's so great about this video is the FUCKING YES in English thrown in at the end.

"Hard mode" yet still easy as pie. I gave up on high level wow because the content comes too slow and when it does come out it's simply too easy.

I remember back in the earlier days of MMO's like everquest when bosses were REALLY hard.

'"Hard mode" yet still easy as pie.'

If it's so easy than why has only one guild in the entire world done it. When WoW is the most popular game in the world and has tons of high level guilds working round the clock to get this specific achievement?

Yeah I have to jump on Yogi's bandwagon here... Hard modes are not terribly easy to pull off. My lot's done a couple of them so far and I can tell you they're certainly not something for just any ol' thrown-together group. Hard modes were embraced by the developers so that hardcore players would have their cake - rewarding exclusive items like special mounts or weapons.

As for the quick first clears these days, remember that there wasn't anywhere near the amount of online guides and resources around back in vanilla WoW (or EQ, etc). Also nowadays, Blizzard put the bosses up on the test server for months in advance, which is where those pro guilds spend their time practicing and figuring the fights out.

They made the 'normal mode' content easier so that more of their players would at least be able to see the end of these dungeons. Only the top few percent would have cleared the original Naxxramas. Imagine if you wrote a wonderful book, but no one was able to read it...
