Stormsingersays...So only 40% of the voters are total morons. Idiocracy looks more like a documentary every day.
braindonutsays...And Michigan Radio (our NPR station), local news stations and our own government spent TONS of time leading up to the election trying to fight the misinformation about the bridge.
AND Prop 6 was written in such a way that it would apply to ANY new bridge, requiring a vote for each bridge...
And it still got 41% of the vote.
WTF is wrong with my state?
grintersays...*promote
siftbotsays...Self promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued Saturday, January 12th, 2013 5:31pm PST - promote requested by original submitter grinter.
Yogisays...Can you blame them for having absolutely no trust in anyone in our political system? I mean it's basically designed that way, it certainly is when we talk about changing anything.
st0nedeyesays...Ahh, I see now, the way to get you to support a bridge would be a government proposal that says "no new bridges"

RFlaggsays...I'm always amazed when public figures appear on this show and fed classic Daily Show lines like "Define zero again" or "You think I'm stupid?" and the person seems confused... when they agreed to the interview did they or their handlers if they have them, not research the show and note it is a comedy show? I could see the confusion if this was still the 1990s, but the show has been on since 1996, so I would think they would be wise to the format by now.
CreamKsays...So a private person is allowed to own publicly used bridge? How is that even possible?
grintersays...Why would a man that rich care if one of his bridge was less profitable?
