Fail? Looks like a success to me.

Not sure what the reason for doing this might be. Clearly it was running well enough to keep around.

Now you just have to find a auto shop located at the bottom of big hill, coast it in there and say "I think I'm having some engine trouble. Could you take a look at it?"
