The new photoshop diet.

The power of photoshop

Man he rooted her face something chronic... she had a beautiful face to begin with.

Still, not really the point. The point is that you'd look at the final result and wouldn't have a clue (more than likely) that anything had been done.

Haha "Shrink me up some biatches" thats so quote for the day. This guy did a pretty good job with photoshop. Still you look at the end result and something just looks wrong. Its lifelike and yet something about makes me feel disturbed. Like the uncanny valley effect.

Ah, the standards people claim to have on the internet...

Was this really done in one sitting like shown? Obviously it's sped up but still, that's like 10 minutes work. It's not perfect, her butt is definitely wrong, but think what a pro could do in a day.

Everything is photoshopped these days... and by everything I mean magazines, ads, album covers.... anything that could possibly make money AND make you feel insecure about yourself.

for a look at some of the more 'innocuous' photoshoppery out there check out this this artist's portfolio and the work he's done for some ads and magazines... the before and after animations are pretty revealing how our celebs and covergirls are made to look so damn perfect:

I mean, who knew Eva Longoria had laugh lines?
Her publicist certainly wouldn't allow that to become common knowledge.

Or, how Redbook turned Faith Hill from a perfectly wonderful looking woman into some sort of mutated anatomically impossible waif.

^ whats interesting in the "before" for this one, is that the retouched image has changed the style of the clothes of the girl on the right to be less revealing, not more (unlike in some others) and makes her look more classy as a result.

I guess its all what the client wants... maybe they had some standard they had to adhere to that dictates that the lower margin of boobage is vulgar... who knows... although, looking at it, her breasts sort of seem a little bigger and fuller with the bikini edited to fully encompass them, so maybe that was the rationale behind it.
