Sarzysays...This dog clearly has no idea about how the dog-mailman relationship is supposed to go.
mxxconsays...This is an awesome example of a properly socialized dog.
If only somebody figured out to how to put lab's brain into a different size dog, that would've been amazing.
EvilDeathBeejokingly says...and at the next house, he had his arm bitten off by a pitbull
MilkmanDansays...My theory is that Labs are nice because they don't have as extensive a history of selective breeding (read: inbreeding) as other dogs. Wolf to Lab -- not such a massive genome shift. Wolf to Poodle/Chihuahua = ... bound to be a few crossed wires in there.

MonkeySpanksays...In general, the concept of a mailman is pretty confusing to dogs.
Dog Logic: "I barks, mailman doesn't come into house."
Dog Thinking: "Yeah, that's right bitch; you stay out of this house. See you tomorrow!"
entr0pysays...It seems like retrievers are pretty nice in general. It's like they were breed to be cuddly 95% of the the time, go get us stuff 5% of the time.

poolcleanersays...I've lived in California for so long.... is this that American dream people keep talking about?
