lucky760says...Loved that.
I was a die hard TMNT fan as a child, but totally forgot about those Rock Steady and Bebop characters until I saw their faces.
GeeSussFreeKsays...I sooo have to watch some classic TMNT now!
Hawkinsonsays...It was really weird seeing the g-rated cartoon, especially since they kept their weapons (at first).
I owned a couple of the original comics as a kid. It was a violent comic for its time (I ate it up for all the wrong reasons).
There was a brilliant return to the original continuity a few years ago, art and writing by Eastman and Laird, picking up shortly after the death of shredder (killed by Leonardo back in issue 17 or so), with the turtles, Casey Jones, April, and Shredder going their separate ways and trying to find a purpose (e.g. killing shredder left a small army of foot ninja's, and the turtles weren't sure if they should hunt them all down or what). It gave me a second chance to appreciate their story telling beyond "cool, he shoved his broken staff into that guys head!".
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'chtv, tmnt, Turtles, stab, shredder' to 'chtv, tmnt, Turtles, stab, shredder, bebop, rocksteady' - edited by RhesusMonk

eatboltsays...I have been waiting to see that for years. I remember, even as a small kid, sitting on the floor yelling, "No! You're letting them get away! Just use your swords. Come on!" Then, years later, I caught a rerun of some of the later episodes and Michelangelo had these little turtle-shell hook things instead of his nunchucks. Lame.
