The Incal, animated trailer (2011)

Jodorowsky's The Incal was promoted to be animated by Pascal Blais in 2011, and this trailer was produced. At the same time, the documentary of Jodorowsky's Dune was put together and stirred that pot. Director Nicolas Winding Refn decided to do a live-action presentation of this Heavy Metal-esque comic in 2013...and we still wait.

Besson's Fifth Element has been done, though, making these a Multi-Pass. Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Neat. Not my favorite, and horribly awkward in so many ways, but I have to *promote this because it's so different.

Love the animation. Reminds me of the movie Heavy Metal.

The original comic was illustrated by Moebius, who also provided some production design on the Fifth Element; a film which is heavily "inspired" by the Incal.

So much so that Moebius and Jodorowsky allegedly sued Luc Besson.

On one hand, I hate watching trailers that look like they're summarising the whole movie (regardless of their age).

On the other hand, Jodorowsky. WTF. I doubt I'd half understand the film after watching it twice.
