The Cove: Sundance Film Exposes Japanese Dolphin Slaughter

The Cove exposes an atrocity of unimaginable brutality. The dolphin slaughter depicted here is committed yearly and without knowledge of the general Japanese public, even though they could be buying highly-toxic mercury-laden dolphin meat disguised as fish from their local supermarkets.

I just saw this at the HotDocs festival here in Toronto yesterday. Very powerful & shocking story, again showing how collectively humans are killing the planet.

The director said last night they've been picked up for distribution by Maple Pictures - keep an eye out in late summer/early autumn for screenings. This one is a must-see film.
