I find it amazing that, a concept like free speech intended for openness, with enough money and corruption, has been subverted to become a national propaganda engine.

And there are no laws or safeguards to protect citizens from freedom of speech being used on such a huge scale to brainwash the average citizen.

Surely the right to NOT have reality distorted by lies is more important than the right of Fox news to tell those lies on a 24 hour nation wide basis?

Can nothing be done?

I have to give it up for Fox though, the amount of subliminal messages in the Jesus lover versus rabid liberal is amazing. Look at the detail:

The guy on the left has "Jesus", a cross, and the American flag clearly visible. Look at how he's seemingly being backed into a corner with less half the width of the shot and smiling.

Look at how he's backed by white and wearing white, whereas the liberal lady is wearing black and has presumably a dark railing in the background. Look at the other person in the background behind her, I would almost wager to say that because I can't even tell if it's a guy or a girl, they're hinting at them being lesbians to incense their conservative audience.

Have to give credit where credit is due, that is nothing short of brilliant in scope.

I love the whole "both sides of the story" thing. Like all issues only have 2 sides. It does make it easy I suppose to have, say, side 1 be the correct side and side 2 is the socialist, commie, grandma-killing side. Or the two sides are crazy, racist, teabagger vs. the correct side. I wonder what a therapist would say about the MSM's seeming tendency for black and white thinking?

This was absolutely capital work by The Daily Show! I'm a fan in general, but this was delicious!!!
