Real hardcore gamers play the real Japanese Super Mario Bros 2. I got it on the wii virtual console. It took me like a month of continuing to beat the game. It's insanely hard.

I remember playing this game a lot when I was a kid. If I remember correctly we had a cartrige for SNES that had a bunch of NES games on it and this was one of them.
Man, this brought back some memories.

My son's been trying to get me to watch this...I gotta say, back in my day I never had any cheats and I still beat this game, even though it took me many many lives...it taught me patience & perseverance, good old fashioned values that you can't get these days playing more exciting games like SuperMan N64. <---(sarcasm, that's the worst game in history)

Ummm..., I've never played a single Mario Bros. Game in my life (oh, other than Mario Cart - but that one doesn't count) So, none of this made sense to me...
